Well, I've tried to join this about a dozen times. I mean, I know I'm not a computer expert but... I can't get past the user name and password. I fill out the questions, type in the list of random numbers/letters, hit submit, and it tells me I need a user name and password...I'M IN THE TWILIGHT ZONE!!! Any suggestions??

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

Did you go through the registration process? If you did then you should have gotten a validation email at the email address you used to register. Sometimes spam filters stop the validation email. Send me an email [email removed] with the email address you used to register and I will have a look at the problem.
I think it was RennTech that rejected my email address at yahoo.com? One of the car sites did, and I had to sign up with my work address, which is lame, but it solved the problem.
We do not reject Yahoo email addresses - perhaps you did respond top the validation email within 5 days - or Yahoo mail rejected the validation email as spam.
