Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Well I spoke to Greg today & couldn't resist getting the plenum & hi flow 100 cell cats from RSS. Should have them early next week. I am considering having the car dyno'd at PURE Autosports in Toledo before I have the items installed. Everyone seems to like the pklenum & I cant wait. Has anyone gone with the higher flow cats. Do they sound a little more aggressive over the stock ones.

POST 2Original post

Definitely interested in the cat results. Are you going to dyno basline, then cat and finally cat & Plenum?

POST 3Original post

I put the new plenum on today and had the car up around 150MPH here in Germany. I really could not tell much of a difference to the power and no difference in the sound. Drove around 100 miles today up to Trier so we will see if the car improves as it learns the new part. My guess is that even if the car gained some horsepower you really will not feel it. Install took about 30-45min with the biggest PITA being the two boots as others have talked about. I did not have the screw issue and everything went togeather great. As of today I would say save your $800 but will give updates when I take it on a longer trip down to the RUF factory later this month for the Porsche of America meeting here in Germany. Oh by the way I do have an EVO intake and GHL exhaust.

POST 4Original post

I have the plenum and 200 cel cargraphic cats, my car sounds a bit more raspier and a bit louder now since the install

POST 5Original post

do you feel any difference in power or response?

POST 6Original post

100 cel cats will give you a CEL... go with 200 cel cats....

POST 7Original post

doesn't the ecu have to adjust for a bit after installing the plenum?

POST 8Original post

Power is very much smoothen out throughout the power band and the response is instant when you get on the loud pedal!

POST 9Original post

I have 100 cell Fabspeed cats and not one CEL.
