Apparently....look in the manual for bulb changes....and the instructions are there on how to snap the light out without causing damage.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

After posting pics of my new to me 996 I followed advice and acquired a pair of the euro clear side markers. I've read that it's a 10-min install, but is that for a mechanic? It is not obvious to me how much I need to dis-assemble. Any BTDT? Thanks, Jim

POST 2Original post

2 minute install. I'm no DIY'er, but if I can do it, so can you. Literally, snap out the amber lenses, reconnect the leads, and snap in the clear lenses. There are many posts with pics on exactly how to do this without damaging the surface of your car.

POST 3Original post

I just did the same thing....but I'm still waiting for my car to arrive. Apparently....look in the manual for bulb changes....and the instructions are there on how to snap the light out without causing damage. Best of luck,
