Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I just got my passenger door latch fixed at a cost of $720.00 because I would get a double beep error when unlocking the doors. Also, the passenger window would not "dip" when opening or closing the door.
Now its fixed and proper operation of the window shows that when I open the door, it should dip and stay dipped untill I close it.
Well, go figure, today, one day after I get my car back, my driver's side window dips when I open the door but immediately goes back to the closed position. In order for me to close the door properly, I have to hold the handle up and quickly slam the door before the window has a chance to go back up.
What could be broken and how do I remedy it?
I'm really not to excited that immeidately after my warranty expires, I get problems like this.
Man, that sucks, BIG time!
Have you tried to "retrain" or reset the window? Turn the ingition switch to the first position and then lower the window all the way down and continue holding the window switch down for 10 - 15 seconds after the window has been completely lowered. Raise the window up and continue holding the window switch down for 10 - 15 seconds after the window has closed. Now check the operation of the window. This may correct the problem.
If this does not work, here is a link to a therad that discusses the exact problem you are having with your driver's side window.

Good luck! I hope this helps!
retraining the window did not solve the problem. I did notice that I only get the door ajar "ding" when I am opening the handle. After I close the handle, the dinging stops. Does this mean its the switch? Or is it going to be the latch?
