I went with the Porsche one for $248 since my car already has the "kit" installed under the front passenger seat.

I need a porsche booster seat for a 40-100lb child. They buckle in under the front passenger seat of 2001 996 cab and will de-activate the passenger airbag. I have the buckle under the seat already installed but was hoping to find a used booster seat for my kid so he can ride up front. Hoping someone has one that they are no longer using and want to sell. Thanks

They are the same as a Britax Star-riser. I suspect you can get them on ebay cheap. Best. JB (I need my two.....fit in the rear...no bottom cushion and stock back cushion...works great...)

i have one that i will sell. includes all the hardware for the airbag deactivation. Only problem is the hardware is in my house in Austin and i wont be down there until next week. If you can wait 2 weeks it will be for sale.

Thanks guys. I went with the Porsche one for $248 since my car already has the "kit" installed under the front passenger seat. They checked to make sure it was programmed to deactivate the airbag on the passenger side (it was) Thanks Shrews, but summer in Minneapolis is very short and the kid wanted to start riding up front ASAP.

Under 20 lbs/less that 1 yrs old requires a rear facing seat which won't leave much room for your passenger. Do a search on car seats and you will find a ton of information.

Graco Snugride will fit fine - my 5'2' wife didn't complain about space, although you will have to push the passenger seat forward a couple of inches - that means that you'll have to lean foward to get a clear line of sight when you make turns.
