Check the revs per mile (or whatever the term is) to make sure they spin at the same rate and wont burn out the front diff

Suggestion

I imagine they're pretty strong, but I bought a set preowned and two were too bent to even balance.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

8 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I'm thinking of going with the 19" SSR GT3's. Polished metal and silk. For tires going with Michelin PS2's, 295/30's in back, 235/30's in front. Does anyone have any experience with the SSR's?

POST 2Original post

Great wheel. Semi-solid forged, spun inner and outer barrel. It's been a very popular seller for a long time. We are their US importer. Give me a call if interested...

POST 3Original post

Wont you have mismatch issues with 30% sections on front and back, especially with the C4 ? Stock are 35% rear and 30% fronts for this reason i think. Check the revs per mile (or whatever the term is) to make sure they spin at the same rate and wont burn out the front diff

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Yeah, I typed it in wrong. My guy is checking on the tires to make sure they'll fit. Overall though he believes the 295's on the back will work and 235's will work.

POST 5Original post

Your closest and most appropriate OD's will be 245/35/19 and 295/30/19. I just put those sizes on an 03 C2 and they fit/work perfectly.

POST 6Original post

What is "semi solid forged"? Are these cast, forged, or something in between?

POST 7Original post

Had those on my 1994 Toyota Supra TT. I imagine they're pretty strong, but I bought a set preowned and two were too bent to even balance. Previous owner of them hit a pothole. The crook finally gave me my money back, but I wound up buying new ones. Nice looking wheels, for sure, although I can't really see them fitting a 911 very well. To each their own.

This is what they look like on a cab............
