Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Well' the horn didn't work, and there had been a "rodent intrusion" into, but not through the cabin filter.
Well guys,
I've been hanging around here for almost a year now, mostly listening and learning, and last week I finally bought myself a 2002 C4S. I paid $50,900 US. The car is black with natural brown interior, advanced technic, heated seats and coloured caps. Just what I wanted. It had 20,500 miles on it when I picked it up. I will buy an extended warranty soon, as I can't afford an engine replacement. I got a PPI at Barrington's in Chicago, and it went through with flying colours. Well' the horn didn't work, and there had been a "rodent intrusion" into, but not through the cabin filter. The seller fixed those items before I got the car.
I flew from Vancouver, BC to Chicago last Monday, picked up the car and drove it back across the northern US in 3 days. It was a fantastic road trip. I drove 1,900 km. on Wednesday - from Rapid City, SD to Seattle, WA. The car was a champ, I love it.
I think I've attached some pics, even though when I preview the post they don't show.
Here are a few more shots. These are from the dealer.
Jon, I'm just going to say that I have NO IDEA how registration works in the US. I had insurance, issued here in Canada for the trip, and I didn't get pulled over, although it was pretty close once in Montana... But I love the plate, and I'll be putting it up in the garage here at home.
Anyone know what's involved with changing out the cassette storage for an extra shelf?
MURDERER!!!! All those poor bugs...an EX-girlfriend (she was crazy) once told me when I crushed a bug that it could have been my grandma!! Well I didn't think so...my grandma was about 250LBS...the bug was a musquito.
BUT.....love your car....C4S is my favorite with the BIG *** and the big tail lights!!
Goodluck.
All these recent posts on C4S's are a conspiracy to drive up the prices on our cars (hopefully). Very nice black car - post pic of the front sans bugs (those aren't paint chips, right?). Enjoy!!
Seth - Congrats on the car! Very nice looking!
As for changing out the cassette storage for an extra shelf:
1. open all of the casette trays,
2. grab all of the trays and pull straight out,
3. slide in the upper storage tray.
The entire process takes about 8.37 seconds.
i know this isn't the nicest thing to say, but those all tan interiors look bad.
plus the 996 interior without some $$ spent on interior options looks like crap as well.
to state the obvious, so long as u like it... congrats
You are the first owner I have ever seen make a disparaging remark about the "yellow" (my term) interiors.
From the 928 on (I am studying almost every model in my research), the cars are filled with tan/mustard/cashmere/champagne/beige interiors. The biggest Porsche consumers in the world are Americans. So who is the cause of all this "yellow"? Is it a German fetish, or do you Americans keep ordering it?
I can see it with white or red, but black, blue, and grey? Really?
op, nice and sharp car, cong~~~~~~~
ben, the color maybe off from the digital camera. but black with natural brown interior combo is classic, and very appearing in person.
Ben,
That colour combo is my personal favourite (hey, two Canadian words in one sentence, eh). I know some people don't like it, but for me it was either this colour or the savanah beige. The exterior had to be black.
Good thing the world is made up of so many different types.
Cheers!
Ben, what do you think of mine? What would you change/add?
I was thinking about getting aluminum rings. Anyone know if these are any good?
