This is not a probability of success.

Is it something that I have to have repaired now or can it wait a week or two?

you can leave it until you need your clutch replacing - just keep an eye on any drops and of course your oil level.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Since it is my daily driver, I really don't want to get it fixed for the next week or two.
A few days ago I found a few drops of oil on the garage floor. Didn't think much of it. The next day there was about 20 drops. It was strange because the oil feels thinner than motor oil. It is also black. I checked my engine oil and the oil looks like new. I put the car on jack stands and saw that there was a small drop of thin black oil (?) coming from where the bell housing joins with the case. I do have a minor oil leak in another place which I know about (I put a seal on wrong, just haven't bothered to fix it). The slight oil leak that I am aware of has oil that looks brand new.
Has anybody had any problems like this? I didn't want to jump into the RMS debate but I think that this may be the real deal.
By the way- the car drives perfect. Its a 6 speed. There has been no oil on the floor for 3 days now.
Thanks
Its got about 50k. It is my daily driver. I didn't want to jump to the rms conclusion but it really did make sense.

It's purely a cosmetic annoyance at this point - and may even come and go depending on use.
My buddies 986 RMS leak has self cured itself after driving around like that for a year - it's stopped dripping at all - and yes he tells me there is still oil in the car!!!
Wow, great. That will give me some time to find a good indy in town (Columbus, Ohio). As for the oil on the garage floor- I really don't mind- I have a 914. I have come to accept that my floor will be spotted with oil.
Hey - if you're talking oil on the floor I have you beat I'm sure
I have a Land Rover Discovery -

self rust-proofing vehicle
It's a lot like your 914 - If it's not leaking, it's time to refill the oil
