Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.
Discussions that contain suggestions
1
0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.
Suggestion
Some only check standard items, while others are more in depth, so if they won't provide the paperwork, there is no way to know what (if anything) was really checked.
Leading evidence: 'Check standard items, while others are more in depth' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Check standard items, while others are more in depth' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I need help. Anyone live near Camrillo, CA? Has anyone dealt with or know of the car dealership Auto Stiegler in Camarillo, CA. I am trying to buy a Porsche from them and I am having a problem with the dealership.
Any feedback would be appreciated.
I talked to them during my search for my P-Car - they were pretty pushy and arrogant and treated me like I didn't know anything about cars. At the time, I didn't know a ton about Porsches, but I knew/ a lot about cars and how to deal with dealerships (I have family members that have owned them in Michigan). What type of issues are you having?
I am having a problem with paperwork and PPI. I am paying cash for the car and they want me to sign an installment loan aggreement. They said they have done a PPI on the car, and I can't get a copy of it.
fishy, fishy - I would want a third party doing the PPI. Is there something super unique about the car? It seems like there are so many good pre-owned cars available right now.
If they say they have done a PPI and won't provide the data to back it up, I'd walk away. The PPI is done for a reason, and each dealer has a different idea of what is covered in a PPI. Some only check standard items, while others are more in depth, so if they won't provide the paperwork, there is no way to know what (if anything) was really checked. There are way too many good cars available to be suspicious. My .02.
RUN!!! Sounds very fishy. The independent dealer I bought from brought the prospective car to the local Porsche dealership and then we calmly negotiated the resolution for a leaking valve that was discovered (they covered it) and the potential RMS issue that was noted.
As BlackCab said, there are so many good p-cars out there so I'd move on.
Well, now I understand the temptation, but it still sounds like they owe you some explanations before you should give them any $$, unless you have enough $$ that it won't sting if things go wrong later.
There are some rennlist members in here from Thousand Oaks, which is very close to Camarillo - perhaps we can recruit someone to stop by there for you. I will be out that way next week Thursday on a client visit and could go at that time, but that may be too long for you to wait?
