Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

15 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

A friend of mine let me shoot pics of the car this morning in his commercial buidling. Not the great lighting, but a great subject. Enjoy.

POST 3Original post

Not great lighting? That's the shiniest black car I've ever seen. Looks wetttttt. GORGEOUS RIDE. BTW, I went UT Law. Go Rockets!!

POST 4Original post

Beautiful and as the the previous poster said, it looks wet!! It it just had a wing, it would be perfect!

POST 5Original post

Just beautiful. Again, year/options/mileage? Also, is that a red "S" on the rear deck? Looks great!

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Phil, The car is a 2003 4S with all leather, bi-xenon, Porsche Sport Exhaust, Bose system & 14,000 miles. I bought the car last Saturday out of Atlanta, flew down & drove her straight back. 11 hours of pure bliss whereby I learned the car & some of its habits. I find the performance to be 8+, handling 9+, curb appeal--over the top. I purchased the red "S" from an ebay this past week. Nice addition & adds a little pizzazz to the car for $23.00. Thanks Todd

POST 9Original post

Great looking and nicely optioned. Use it well!! I do like the red "S" - did you switch out the entire emblem on the rear deck??

POST 10Original post

Yes....I'm wondering the same...is this the item you are referring to? If so....did you buy a new "carrera" as well? Was it difficult to remove the old lettering without issue? I like the red "s"....matches the rear reflector well. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/PORSC...QQcmdZViewItem Best, J

POST 12 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I only swapped out the "S" & the 4. The new ones are a vinyl material & look very durable whereas the original are hard plastic. I simply used a waxed dental floss & worked it through the glue. I then used goof off to clean the remaining hard glue. Comes right off with a little oomph. Make sure to use rubbing alcohol to finish this off & apply the emblem. All of 30 minutes work. By the way, that is the ebay I was referring to. The item showed within 3 days of purchasing.

POST 13Original post

NICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think the C4S looks the best, but I might be biased.

POST 14Original post

Where did you get the red "S"? I have a seal gray C4S and you can hardly see the black S on it, I'd love to put the red one on.

POST 15Original post

Great car and great pics. Looks great from above. You are really tall. Jack
