The passenger side saved the new location fine, only the driver side refuses to keep its setting, even if I save it to MEM1 and MEM2

If you have a setting saved to the key memory, everytime you disarm the car with the key remote, that saved setting will be activated before you enter the car.

Oh well, the mirrors are set, saved, and I know how to change them if I want to - win, win, win.
These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Also if you put the car in reverse when you save the setting with the key in the ignition, turned on but not running, and push the "key" button to save the settings, next time you put the car in reverse the right mirror will "dip" to see the curb.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Anyone struggled with this problem or have any suggestions?
Did you make sure it's also saved to the "key" memory? If you have a setting saved to the key memory, everytime you disarm the car with the key remote, that saved setting will be activated before you enter the car.
If you press M1 or M2, will the driver's side mirror switch to your saved setting? If not, it could be the control module under the seat going bad. Big $$$.

It works!
Didn't realize the motor should not be running - it always saved my seat settings with the motor running.
Thanks Pac996 and CosmosC4S for your input.
I don't think it matters if the engine is running or not.
I have often done new memory settings with my mirrors and seat while I'm driving. Worked every time.
Well it wouldn't work on mine for whatever reason although, like yours, it saved the seat settings and the right mirror. It must be something "outta whack or fixin' to break". Or perhaps Herculon waves from outer space! Oh well, the mirrors are set, saved, and I know how to change them if I want to - win, win, win. Thanks again for reminding me of the key setting.
