I tried removing the negative battery terminal for 10 minutes hoping it would reset, putting the tranny in and out of park, pushing on the brakes, but nothing will get rid of the abs light.

How about removing the abs fuse before starting and running the car on the dyno?

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I've got my RSS plenum for my 2001 3.4L C2. I'll be attending 3 track days this weekend and wanted to try out the plenum. Since there is a money back guarantee, I want to do a before and after dyno. I can't get more then one pull with my tip. The ABS light comes on and it takes half a day of driving around to reset. I tried removing the negative battery terminal for 10 minutes hoping it would reset, putting the tranny in and out of park, pushing on the brakes, but nothing will get rid of the abs light. The transmission will only run in full auto. It shifts way to quick to get a good pull in 3rd gear. Does anyone have any ideas? How about removing the abs fuse before starting and running the car on the dyno? Somehow I need the transmission to stay in manual. Any help would be appreciated. Ken

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I must have one of the few cars that doesn't have PSM. No light comes on because I don't have it. Ken

POST 4Original post

Ken the light will reset after 10 (I think) engine starts with no fault recorded. Ignore it and it will go away. Best,
