Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I've used the Pelican Tech section (before the Bentley Book arrived) for my engine drop and replacement.
Leading evidence: 'Use pelican tech section (before the bentley book arrived)' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Check internet videos if the space looks tight' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

I have all the 996 manuals(Including the printed factory set) and really none of them cover everything.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Is the Haynes book a good guide?
I need to replace my passenger side radiator from a minor accident. Ive never done this before so I want a reference book for this job as well as for future needs.
I am also aware of Waynes 101 projects for your 911 but I am not sure if this is what I need.
Or buy Both?
Is there anything else out there for repairs on our cars?
Id really appreciate the help.
Thanks
Brian
The 101 projects for your 911 is essentially a printed version of the free articles on Pelican Parts - same photos with the colored arrows and everything. So it's cheap and handy to have a printed out version if you are not a "scrolling on your phone" kind of mechanic. I've never seen the Haynes book. The only other book I'm aware of is the Bentley Service Manual for 911 Carrera (Type 996). If you google that book you will find lots of places to buy. Average Cost looks like $150.
I saw this add while looking I found a link to this website-
https://www.easymanuals.co.uk/custom...er-pdf-format/
seems like a no brainer either that or BS.
Has anyone uses them?
They're going to sell you the same bootleg PDF that is floating around the internet that say "Workshopmanuals.co.uk" in orange at that top. There are lots of places to find that PDF for free without spending the $20.

The manual itself is not the most complete or useful thing in the world but it's another tool to keep at your fingertips in case you need references to how things go together.
I have the 101 Projects book and the Bentley guide. The projects book is better illustrated but and easier to follow but doesnt always include all the details like torque specs, which are in the Bentley manual.
Im a novice wrench. Before I do a project, I consult both books and find a YouTube video of someone doing the job. At that point, I usually feel pretty confident about tackling it myself.
The Knowledge Group sells a handy torque spec book.
Between the Bentley manual, the pdf Workshop manual, 101 Projects and Parts Katalogue you'd be in good shape for normal maintenance and repairs.
First thing I did was buy the Bentley Service Book and the Knowledge Gruppes Torque spec book it was worth it's weight in gold. I've used the Pelican Tech section (before the Bentley Book arrived) for my engine drop and replacement.
But I must say, Rennlist members have helped me a bunch, great members here!
Google searches will get you to many basic project videos too.

I do recommend the 101 project and the Bentley.
They cover a lot for a reasonable price.
The factory printed manuals are not worth their high cost IMHO.
I haven't seen a Hayne 996 manual.
I'd probably buy one if I found one though.
How could I forget the Torque Spec book?

If you're going to do serious DIY on your car this book is essential.
