Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Not yet, but I just ordered a water pump and asked that if I just replaced it after 60K, would they honor it? Kevin said yes, just order the new water pump, and after I replace it send them the old one and they'd refund the price. I ordered a lot of suspension components from they earlier this year. Haven't had to test the warranty.
Brake Performance company in CA (California, not Canada), brakeperformance.com, gives a lifetime warranty on pads and rotors. They machine their own rotors in house. I received a set of front cross-drilled rotors (zinc plated), semi-metallic pads, and HW kit, shipped, for under $225.
I also have Volvos. I put on new OE wiper blades, OEM air filter, and cabin filter every year, and send the old ones back. All oil, Liquimoly, and oil filters come from them. Brake pads have been replaced under warranty, but not rotors yet. I've replaced spark plugs under warranty.
The paperwork is a pain and shipping is challenging. However, I don't have an issue dealing with those things to get the refund.
At this point I pretty much buy as much as I can from them and if I need to I can get it replaced. I keep my cars for a long time and maintain them well.
Interesting business model. Its like an insurance business. They are betting most wont go through the work to get the refund. Really surprising to me they do it with used oil though.
Wow! I am completely stunned. It's crazy to take back some of these things. I guess they calculate that the number of folks that will do the paperwork to return things is small enough that the marketing advantage is well worth it.
Cool. I guess I need to pay better attention...
The way that they're able to keep this model in place is that most will never deal with the effort. Especially since you have to pay shipping back to them which is not inexpensive for something heavy like oil. I still think that it's well worth it though on most items, specifically brakes. I will take an hour out of my day to fill out paper work and pay a bit of shipping to get a refund for used parts.
And it has to be for the same car. FCP is also expecting that most folks will not keep their car that long.
I stay with them because they have good quality parts and excellent service. Most everything is OE or OEM. They are not selling junk like RockAuto or Ebay. When I've had problems I can email and have a conversation with someone. Response time is very good and we always work out the problems. Add in the lifetime warranty and I'm sold.
Not all their parts are good. 944 engine mounts are my own personal example. Porsche genuine are the only good 944 engine mounts. Everything else is pretty much junk. I ordered 2 $10 ones from FCP just to see and they are okay to use as door stops, but not as engine mounts.
