Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

11 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Do the 2002 targas (cant find one locally so have to ask) suffer from the nasty air pressure fluttering problem that coupes seem to have when their sunroof is open b/t 20-70kmh?

POST 3Original post

Mine doesn't either. I had a '95 993 that did, but I've never had the issue with the Targa. Great car....

POST 5Original post

No. I've had that problem a lot in the past with BMWs. Not necesarily coupes, either. I think whether or not a car does depends on the size and shape of the sunroof, rear windows, and relative open/close status of all operable windows. I've never found it to be a problem at all with the Targa.

POST 8Original post

Roll the windows down, even a little bit, to relieve the pressure.

POST 9Original post

Nope Many cars that I have owned with sunroofs do however experience the air stutter you ask about.

POST 10Original post

do you need to check the regulation bolt in front on the targa sistem. Max

POST 11Original post

The smallest crack in the window solves the problem. My MB 500E does the same thing. It's not that big of a deal.
