Suggestion
I prefer the flat spokes versus the spokes with the ridges, mostly because I think it will be easier to clean the brake dust off of them.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Could someone please post rear and side shots of a dark colored 996 with this wing. I see mostly on cabs and think I'd like to add it to my car. Thanks in advance. Here are some pics to reward you for reading my post.

Steven C. - I don't know. They were on the car when I bought it. I've had some clues that they may be HRE, but that's not certain. There is no branding whatsoever on them. I'd love to know if you figure it out.
As for offsets, I don't know how to tell that, either. Any hints? I won't be surprised if they aren't right for the car... although it's never done anything that would make me think it wasn't set up properly....
The wheels look good on your car.
They look a lot like the BSA 215a wheels, which I REALLY like (see pic),) but I can't tell for sure.
You should post a few close up shots of your wheels. Maybe we can do a little "sluthing" and determine what brand of wheels you have. I would like to know what they are, too.
Jerler,
That side view pic of your car is freaking amazing. I love the look with the skirts and the carrera wing! Are the skirts oem? what about the wing!
That does look excellent. Is that a non aero front bumper. I was worried about the sideskirts with the factory carrera non aero bumper. But it looks awesome.
Those are BSA 215s without a doubt. Sometimes you'll find a few sets for sale on ebay, really cheap. One other guy (black 996) had them in all satin black, sorry not good with names.
That's what I thought, too, BSA 215a wheels, Maybe a little older version because of the extra holes by the lug nut holes. I don't see the additional holes on the the BSA web site pics.
Actually they have two different layout for the same wheel. One with small holes in between lug holes and one without. Also some have flat spokes and others with a ridge (like picture posted above).
Check out this guy, he sells alot of BSA wheels. Here is another set with huge lip.
Huge lip
Also, do a search in the 993 forum (I think!!), someone bought a set and had details for offsets (sorry, sometimes my memory fail's me).... Edited; here is the

I have the BSA 215a on my 996 and they look the same. Offset is 48 front and 40 rear. The strange thing is I've been gonig back and forth with jj regarding center caps. His is 76mm while mine is 60mm.
CWay - thanks for the additional info and the links, which I read completely. I recalled seeing some BSA wheels with the extra holes in hub area and some without the holes. It will be helpful to know that both kinds are still available so I don't get any with the extra holes in them.
I prefer the flat spokes versus the spokes with the ridges, mostly because I think it will be easier to clean the brake dust off of them.
Keep your eyes open and watch ebay often cause they do come up once in a while. I like the fat lip in the back but offset is 40 and seem to low for my 964 NB.
Good luck. I see that the discussion about these wheels is also taking place in another thread. If I see something, I'll make sure to let you guys know.
