Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

just got back from NYC..and believe me being pulled over for speeding in LA isn't that bad compaired to being pulled over by NYC cops....what a bunch of A holes.....after 911 (I lived in NYC when it happened) everything changed for the worst!!

Suggestion
He was determined to get me, so I just set the cruise control to 65mph, pulled into the right lane and sat there until he got bored and moved on...
These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

another speeding ticket...i don't know how they pick me out of a busy highway....with everybody driving 75-80 MPH.....I just follow traffic in the carpool lane...and BAM get singled out and pulled over...and my P isn't even red or yellow.....If feel abused...and it was on my birthday too.....
just a little rant!
Damn, I always have that feeling when I'm following traffic at speeds over the limit.
I'm always paranoid that I will be the one "selected" as scapegoat.
Damn cops are profiling us.
Hope your birthday is good otherwise.
Congrats! (on your birthday)
Once I was in my speedyellow 968 CS cruising 120km/h (legal is 110) and I was being overtaken by an old Volvo when the cop fired his laser and guess who got pulled over and fined?!
Ciao,
J.
Bummer... But Happy Birthday! I also have a paranoid feeling while driving even a few mph over the limit that I don't have in any of my other cars - and being guards red doesn't help!
Damn! Bad luck - that sucks! I hope that you otherwise had a good birthday.
I tend to be paraniod in the presence of patrol cars. Last weekend we drove to Vermont and back and I had a NY state trooper pacing me and occasionally zapping me with his radar. He was determined to get me, so I just set the cruise control to 65mph, pulled into the right lane and sat there until he got bored and moved on... took 5 or so minutes, but he moved on. Pretty dumb.
The only reason I could give for him following me (I was in my SUV) was that a braked (down from 72mph to around 67mph)when he pulled into the highway from he center divider.
Total bummer, dude...yesterday was my birthday, too, and I thought about the very scenario you experienced, wondering if a cop would cut me some slack if he noticed the birthdate on my license. I guess they don't. It so happened I didn't even drive the p-car yesterday (waited until today - healthy engine exercising w/o a ticket, thank goodness).
Sorry about your bad luck.
That is the exact reason why I invested in my V-1 .... not for the 5% of the time I really go fast, but for the 95% of the time I'm just moving along with the 80mph crowd on I-75 here in Atlanta.
They can't stop them all, and I assume my Porsche will be the one singled out.
THANKS GUYS...... just got back from NYC..and believe me being pulled over for speeding in LA isn't that bad compaired to being pulled over by NYC cops....what a bunch of A holes.....after 911 (I lived in NYC when it happened) everything changed for the worst!!
I got pulled out of traffic before the mid-town tunnel for a (for NYC standards) routine check...was driving a U-haul rental van).....they tread you like ****....for no reason.
Got 2 parking tickets (one while sitting in the van....my assistants were unloading photo equipment) and the other while being parked where I could park....have to find out why they ticketed me)
AND this all in a 24 hour period!!!
I am so glad that I moved to SOCAL....because all in all the cops here are pretty nice!
And my birthday was not bad.....shot a 6 page story for Maxim Magazine of a "up and comming" actress.
Glad to be back from snowy NYC
Too bad about getting singled out as it was probably just an envious cop. Interesting comparison about getting pulled over in LA vs NYC. I recently got pulled over for speeding in New Zealand (South Island) and was amazed how courteous the officer was. Perhaps it's just the infusion of US tourism dollars they are concerned with.
Sorry to hear about the ticket Nicolaas. Happy birthday though. You'll have to let us know when the Maxim comes out with your spread, I get it monthly and will be looking forward to seeing it.
My bad luck for the day - went to court yesterday to make a point about a ticket I got. Cop pulled me and another person over for exceeding the speed limit. Other guy was a local utility pickup with two union guys. The cop gives me the ticket, let's him go. I go to court to ask what's up with that. Judge is a *****, says cop can enforce law however he wants. Judge tells me Oregon has new law - four moving violations in two years is automatice 30 day suspension of drivers license. I've got a ticket for no seatbelt from 2005, a speeding from 2005, and a bulls**it red light ticket from last summer. So, I'm at four. Yippy.
Sorry to hear it - Happy Birthday. At least California allows us to go online for traffic school and you don't have to have the points added to your license for insurance purposes!
That sucks Troy....it is better to fight them on technicalities than on: why me and not them..because if you do they got you by the B.lls.
Just keep on driving and stay within the speedlimit for a month.....
by the way the Maxim spread should come out in June.
