Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.
Suggestion
Someone from another forum has a personalized plate on his 993 and I believe uses the car daily.
Leading evidence: 'Use car daily' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Use car daily' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Ok, I had a few too many one night and got on the computer and started to get ideas for license plates. I bought two of them. I would like to get opinions on which one you like best (or hate). The goal is to give anyone who reads it a little chuckle. it will go on my 2003 Targa (avatar) or on my garage wall.
Plate 1: L8R POKY
Plate 2: I8YUR V8
Go ahead and let me have it if you hate vanity plates.

Funny...I actually bought two plates too...one came in and I decided I want the "other" one..so I am waiting for my plate to come in.
Once I get it...I will post up!!! hahahaa...
We realized yesterday that a coworker has, just by sheer coincidence:
9AM A40
We've spotted some 40oz. around his desk at 9am-ish before.. (it's a very liberal workplace)
We *think* it's a coincidence..
Out of the 2 I like the 2nd one but I hope you can back that statement up. Id run that plate if I still had my Supra Twin turbo but on my 996, Id think twice. Going along with that, I know some people that have VIPRKLR as their plate but they also have single turbo cars that very well eat up Vipers.
Just food for thought.
Yea, since I "only" have a stock 3.6L this is a little in-your-face and maybe too over the edge. This one might end up on the garage wall until I get my GT3 or TT.
I had vanity plates for years, but stopped getting them when I moved to PA, as you couldn't go anywhere without people sseeing you.
I'm currently considering getting a plate for the Carrera (which all my friends can identify anyway) and one thought crossed my mind - has anyone had issues with them being easier to report to the police? i.e., you fly by at 110mph, someone reads your plate easily and reports you - anyone had that? Just a thought. On previous cars it really hasn't been an issue, but it is a situation that I'm considering for this car.
Ironically, that's the reason why I'm also hesitant in putting mine on when it comes. Someone from another forum has a personalized plate on his 993 and I believe uses the car daily. One day, he recieves a letter from the CHP as a "courtesy notice" that a "fellow driver" on the road reported his car (w/ his personalized plate) to be "always" driving recklessly.
Okay, so there was some basis for my paranoia.
I'm not an agressive driver - in fact I think I'm remarkably well behaved considering the power under my right foot, but I have been known to floor it for short distances on an open road.
There's a reason why people have plates like mwmwmw and so on... to make it harder to read.
I'm currently considering trying to find less obvious alternatives to the plate that I want in order to get around the issue (i.e. substituting 0 or D or Q for O, etc), but even then there will be only so many permutations that can be had for a given plate and the chances of them driving a white Porsche are slim to none.
That's true.
To be fair, the person with the 993 stated that since he drives the car daily, he never drives recklessly to work EVERYDAY. Maybe the "fellow driver" was simply having a bad day or having a bad case of penvy
