Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

so i did GT3 console delete today. i followed these great directions. since i am 6'2", i can really appreciate this mod. everything went well. i even relocated both heated seat switches into the horseshoe. the problem is that i also have Bose -- that means a subwoofer in the passenger footwell. well, it seems like there is a disconnect between doing GT3 console delete and Bose stereo. i guess i have two options now: have a stereo shop fabricate a little triangle piece with black carpet on top to plug-in the opening simply remove the sub (would need to get black carpeting since there is none under the sub) any thoughts? pics are here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/jkoum/s...7594581423724/ (btw, that pic with four screws.. well.. i was suppose to end up with four screws that were holding the lower console in place. except i ended up with one screw which is different. i guess i used a wrong screw somewhere, but i can't seem to remember where)

POST 2Original post

odd. I have bose on my 03 C4S and my sub is in the back behind the rear seats. I've never seen a hump like that in the foot well... I see you have a cab, maybe that is why they put it there? I'd keep the sub in there and simply plug the hole. You could probably do it yourself with some plywood, carpet and a jigsaw.
