Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Aloha everyone! I've been a german car guy for all of my 26 years of driving, and have finally taken the plunge to the P-car. I picked up a very nice black on black 1999 C4 with factory aero kit and the Sport Designs, and 31k on the odometer. Yes, I had it checked out by a local Porsche tech and got a clean bill of health. I've been lurking on the forum for a couple of months now and the wealth of knowledge is amazing.
Go ahead and let the NOOB Bashing begin!

Welcome aboard!
And by the way, you avoided the wrath of Tim and may even get serious kudos by posting pics and an intro on your first post! Way to go.
Thanks for the welcome.....and yes I was purposely trying to avoid the wrath!!
A couple of other "goodies" I forgot to mention.....full Fabspeed exhaust (great growl at WOT..a little loud around 2-3k rpm), K40 front and rear detector, just installed Alpine 9833 with Sirius It already sounds better than the stock HiFi system, and once I figure out all of the crossover/time correction it should be even better. I swear, it seems like you need a PHD in audio just to adjust the bass and treble!

Damn that car is fast - even when standing still it's slipped out of frame before he could snap the shot!
But seriously folks, nice purchase - welcome to the black P car detailing club!
Alright...I get it...
Let's try this one where I was able to catch it standing still
Black car and no garage =a car cover and a LOT of Quik Detailer!
BP
Yep. It's a black on red 2005 Elise with the Touring package and 5k. I am actually getting out it in order to fulfull my Pcar needs
It is a fantastic machine that it definitely the most FUN car I have ever driven. It's just to much of a hassle to drive on a semi-daily basis around Central Florida.

You're killin' me! Thanks again for making the noob feel welcome, and to answer your questions:
Yes it's the factory suspension
Yes all four calipers are factory "Big Red's"

They are the Sport Classic II (not Sport Design as i quoted earlier). Kind of a nice old school BBS style wheel with a nice polished lip, that is actually easy to clean. Let's see if I can get the link thingy to work:
