Ok, I thought I would share my 3 year olds new mobile theater with you all. I replaced the head unit with a Kenwood Excelon KVT-817DVD 7" Fold out touch screen receiver. Then I yanked out that useless tape holder and replaced it with a CD/DVD Holder I got From RamV another fellow member. This is for DVDs as my daughter choses. I update the Dash and rear component speakers with MB Quart Systems and the doors with JL Audio. I also had a custom flush mount box built in the back storage area to house to more 8" JL subs. It is all powered by 2 Precision Power Amps. Unbelievable. Finally I added clear triangles to my headlights to finish the day. Enjoy.

Nice... any reason why you went with a flip-out one instead of a fixed 7" touch-screen from say eclipse or kenwood?

Yeah Having a little one in the car, I often (almost daily) find myself using the cup holders. I didnt find any add on cup holders that I liked. Also I think the fold out is more stealthy, 007, sleeper cool!

cool....I did the DDX7015....I thought that the motor in the screen would be the first thing to go....so I didnt want all the fouldout stuff....I also think the double din unit looks like a stock NAV system....but enjoy!

Is there a satellite radio that fits in the extra DIN space with a factory look? The only ones I've found are too square to fit the space and look right.
