depends.....look at whats going on and then figure it out...the tire size is not a problem...I run the same size....the 11" rim is not a problem, I run 11" rears...your wheels are farther out than mine and should not rub on the inside unless there is something going on....so hard to give you a remedy without knowing what the problem is....personally, I'd get new wheels not because of this because I prefer to have the wheels fit inside the wheel well, not be flush with it....so thats my personal preference....take off the rears and see whats going on....

Anyone here know, hear, or tried one of these coilovers set before?

if this will be a DE car then you may find em quite good for the price...otherwise...PSS9's or an OEM suspension setup are best bang for the buck as far as street or street/light track use go.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Anyone here know, hear, or tried one of these coilovers set before? some feedback would be great.. i wanted to go with the PSS9 but for about $2500 it's not too cheap, and the Row M030 looks like a viable option, but NON adjustable just makes it look like a nice shock and spring set up only... so what do we know about the

or the D2 RS Coilover...

D2's used to be very poor in quality for the street because they would get noisey and would work poorly in winter...S13/S14 owners didnt like them. they have since switched suppliers or refined their manufacturing process and made them acceptable... if this will be a DE car then you may find em quite good for the price...otherwise...PSS9's or an OEM suspension setup are best bang for the buck as far as street or street/light track use go.
if you have any experience as far as japanese car tuning goes...the ranking would probably be something like this from top end to middle to low end
Ohlins, Motons, other gangster race suspensions
JIC, High end Tein (RA's, track masters, etc), Kei office
Cusco, Tein, PSS9's
Stance, Megan Racing, D2 Racing
the rest (aka stuff that belongs on nothing better than a ricer civic)
that's sort of an approximate ranking. i've got a good friend with a very fast/compeditive race car and he has D2's with his own spring rate and is quite happy with em.
I would only consider options that are from 996 owners on cars used how you will be using it...if for mostly the street, then go PSS9's...hardcore tracking....JIC's....In my research, there are no other viable options....
mostly street... i don't know if i will track it.... probably get a lotus for this one.... right now just trying to make the car look nice and perform nice enough if i need the get up and or if i happen to hit the twisty
Inside? rears? wow....thats a new one on me....I have no rubbing and my rears are probably farther inside the wheel well than yours...it could be the fender liner came lose? so its not in the right place? Is it rubbing on both sides?
depends.....look at whats going on and then figure it out...the tire size is not a problem...I run the same size....the 11" rim is not a problem, I run 11" rears...your wheels are farther out than mine and should not rub on the inside unless there is something going on....so hard to give you a remedy without knowing what the problem is....personally, I'd get new wheels not because of this because I prefer to have the wheels fit inside the wheel well, not be flush with it....so thats my personal preference....take off the rears and see whats going on....
porsche smile, what is the spec of the wheel/tire your're running now. i have 285/30/18 and an 18x11" rim with an ET 55 offset that does not rub at all at the track or the street.
that's right... i have no idea what the offsets are... they are not printed on the inside of the wheels... so it's 19 11 in the rear 285 30 19 zr that's all i got.... the pics of my car is on one of the thread my ride....
