Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Sounds like that might be something I should also do...how do I go about cleaning the MAF?

I was going to ask...when cleaning the TB and the MAF...can you just use carb cleaner or that CDC electronic aerosol spray?
These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

It was kinda warm here in So Cal yesterday so I put on the AC and realized that with the nudge in the idle speed the car was idling nice and smooth...with just normal operating - with out the AC on - the car has been idling a little bumpy or rough...I'm wondering if I need to nudge the idle up just a bit...what is the normal idle RPM? On my SC it was a very simple adjustment; can anybody explain where the adjustment is on my car? Thanks!
thorttle body cleaner hose it down use a rag to soak up the excess and wipe down the blades, open the throttle and clean the butterfly and right inside the rag. after your done let the car sit for a while 10-15 minutes then start it up and let it run till hot. if you have egas turn the key to the on position and dont start it dont touch the gas for 2 minutes to adapt the throttle
I was going to ask...when cleaning the TB and the MAF...can you just use carb cleaner or that CDC electronic aerosol spray? Is carb cleaner too caustic for the MAF?
i would not use carb cleaner on the maf.......... just my opinion.
spray it well with your cleaner of choice and let it dry do not touch or scrub it let dry before reinstall

Also...with regard to the idle...I thought that there was some sort of idle adjustment...but after I took the car back to the indy becasue the idle was a bit low, I was told that there is no idle adjustment....it's all done thru the software. One thing I did find though was that I have the EVOM cool air intake...and it's put together in segments that slide into each other where the triangular box surrounds the air filter then goes into the throttle body. The segments had come loose from each other....thus allowing more air to enter the intake. After I noticed this I put the segments back together, tightened them up, and voila...no more idle issues. I guess the increase in airflow caused the sensors to do whatever sensors do...and it idled rough. (How's that for a technical explanation?). Just a heads up for you folks running cool air intakes.
