I mhave had a problem with the seat bottom on my power seat in my 2003 C4S. I set it for my remote key fob. With a couple of days, every time I lock and unlock the car the seat moves bdown 1/2 " at first, then and inch then eventuall it bottoms out. Very irritating. My dealer in Nashville, almost worthless, replaced the remote. That hasn't helped. They just had it for three days, said they couldn't duplicate and the service manager acts like I'm imagining it. He as much as said so. Has anyone had this problem? He says my car is the only one? Is there a service bullitin perhaps? Your help is appreciated.

I had the same problem when I got a new remote key. Seat goes down and then all the way back, and seatback goes all the way down. Dealer couldn't figure it out, and suggested that I replace the memory control module, about $1000...no guarantee it will solve the issue. I told them, that's fine, my original key still works fine. My seat memory still works fine, it's just the freaking new key they sold me that isn't programmed right! I will let my indy mechanic try to reprogram the key when I get the chance, if that doesn't work, he says he could disable the key-seat memory. That should be fine as I am the only one driving the car.
