This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

16 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi all.... I thought it was about time to come out of the fray and introduce myself. I have wanted a 911 since high school and finally bought a '99 996 c2 in Oct05... Guards Red, black supple leather interior, LSD, 18" turbo wheels and PSE ( awesome exhaust note !! ). I originally looked to buy 3.2 Carrera or a 964, but during my search I made the mistake of test driving a 996 and that was it ...... game over. I loved the extra power, and the refinement of the 996 was a bonus !! I also have an '88 924S that I use as my daily driver in the winter and for DE. I am fairly active in the local PCA ( Lincoln Trail Region) doing autocrosses and DE's with my 19 yr old son. I plan to do my first DE with the 996 ( or "Big Red" as my son like to to call her) this spring at Putnam. I attached a photo hope it works........ Yes, I know, it still has the amber side lights, but on red I think it looks OK. Cheers!!!

POST 2Original post
