I'm looking at putting on an OEM wing but have seen a couple styles. I haven't been able to find any good pictures of cabs with the wing on them, and I know they are out there. Anyone with one care to share their picture with me? Much thanks!
Maybe it is b/c I really like the OEM stuff but the carrera wing made specifically for the CAB looks really great and doesn't weigh down the look of the rear.
I know that adding mod's is a personal choice and makes all of our cars different. I've shown a few people the wing though and I've gotten some responses back about how it takes away from the lines of car. Basically saying without it, the lines are so smooth and flowing around the back, but then the wing halts it abruptly and focuses your attention to just the wing portion. Maybe it's because the pictures offer fixed points of view instead of seeing the car as a whole??? Anyone have any thoughts on this?
Wow, I've never been a fan of wings on 911s, usually because they're overdone (like one I saw on a 996 today), but each and every one of these pics looks absolutely amazing.
I looked around for a while and narrowed it down to 2 wings :
- the OEM Carera wing
- the OEM (small) Turbo wing (adapted for the narrow body). Can be bought aftermarket from NR, but unfortunately needs to be kept in a fixed position.

I guess I am late to the wing photo party....dang it. Well...here is mine..with the HARDTOP on...so it is a little different!
in honor of Chinese New Year this weekend I am going to finally remove the hardtop and experience this bad boy topless! WOOT!
