Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Surfing around and looking for GT3 Seats to my car , i want the real ones but have you ever seen this "ebay seats" IRL ? How bad ( or good ) are they ?? someone must buy them..
/Rob
I would NEVER buy knock-offs when it comes to seats. Especially ones like these that are an integral part of the safety system. What happens if their inferior material shells collapse in an impact? Not a chance I want to take. Safety is an area I would NEVER skimp on. And as far as thinking somebody must be buying them we don't know that. They can post them for sale all they want but not sure who is buying them. My guess is cheapskates and posers.
If these are the same "GT3 style" seats I've seen before, then the fact that the seller has put in large bold print that he/she will not refund under any circumstances should be an alarm bell...
His feedback comes mostly from sales of other non-seat items. Moreover, if he is willing to sell these seats

at 1K and buy now price is 1600. Makes you think how much these seats really cost and how good they are. You get what you pay for at best on ebay.
He's just trying to make a living. As long as he is honest about the product why knock him?
I'm sure other countries know how to make seats. Germany isnt the only country that can sew leather to a steel/metal frame.
All i'm saying is that the guy seemed genuine. I emailed him a few months ago about a body kit. I was looking for the factory oem gt3 pieces. He said that his kit was a replica made from fiberglass so I moved on. He seem pretty honest to me.
Evo has yet to return my call about a SC.. maybe they can sense that i'm a pretender..
hows that for customer service?
So their ad states that the pictures you see are the product you are getting yet the product has the Porsche crests on the seats and installed in a car with red Sabelt harnesses that I am willing to bet they lifted from somebody else. What if they are NOT as advertised? Seriously fellas, $1200 for GT3 seat copies cannot be made froom the proper materials. Christ, you can't even get the Recaro pole positions (GT3 shell) for that price. My guess is inferior materials that you don't want to have to guess on when you need it the most--impact. Just amazed that some of y'all will skimp on pieces like this.
i'll have to re-read his ad but i dont recall him saying oem factory gt3 seats. The pics with the sabelts does not appear to be the same as the seats he is advertising. His have 3 holes on the seat bracket. I guess for angle adjustments. The real euro gt3 seats only have one hole right?
Correct, the true ones have the factory brackets attached with a single bolt hole fore and aft on each side. By the way, I never said he claimed they were OEM. The do claim they are "Porsche GT3 seats" with creative wording. But to say they sell (RETAIL) for over 3K GBP is misleading. Using somebody else's pics of REAL GENUINE OEM EURO GT3 SEATS and labeling it as your own (it has THEIR watermark on it) is fraudulent as well.
I have purchased other stuff from Porsche Dynamic (Alan) and he is great to deal with (honest). I however do not know what the quality is like of these seats and I would personally not put them or any other safety device that is not OEM in my GT3.
Ciao,
J.
One guy over 964 forum bought a set and seem pleased with the product. I do agree with all of you but to a certain extent. Recaro makes amazing stuff but they are not given. Pole Position are 640$ in black cloth. Everything these days is copied to exactitude and even down to quality. I for myself, am at my second set of genuine recaro GT3 seats in my RSA but I also don't think his seats are complete trash.
