Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

I am looking to buy an 00-01 996 cab. This is for my brother. I have searched all the normal places. Craigs, cars.com, trader, rennlist etc. I just found myself a really nice 91 964 cab with 37k miles after 1 1/2 year search. Details; 00-01 carrera 2 Must be cabriolet 6spd under 50k miles aero kit black, charcoal or red full documents no stories car If you would like to sell or know where I can find one, please let me know. Thanks Jeff

POST 2Original post

For that money, you might have to think about importing one from the US. Canadian pre-owned prices are higher than that, generally speaking. You might just get into a '99 with some miles on a private sale, but there won't be much to choose from. And if you buy in the US, find yourself a good indy mechanic to service it. Dealers will treat you like dirt if you bring an imported car to them.

Bruce, $40k usd. and that is on the high side.

Contact me at [email removed] - I have a 2000 in Excellent condition - Black Cabriolet, Black interior 47,000 miles - CPO Warranty through end of 10/07 - zero curb rash on rims - Pirelli P Zeros with 90% tread in the front and 80% tread in the rear - Oil changed with 0W40 synthetic (of course) one thousand miles ago. No leaks, runs better than any new car I have owned. I am selling because I have 3 cars, two kids, a pregnant wife, and am doing a remodel on the back of my house. I don't get to drive the car and it can't hurt to free up some cash with everything I have going on. I will provide photos, will drive somewhere for a PPI for you (I drive, you pay). I am about as **** as they come with my cars. I am not a dealer or broker and I will cry when I sell this. It really is a great car and I will own another Porsche after I catch up with my life. The paint is overall in good to very good shape - I have it detailed regularly, keep it covered in my garage, etc...I am asking $40,000 OBO - if you are really serious, I promise that you won't regret contacting me. I would love to sell to a rennlist member or the relative of a rennlist member.
