Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Lately I had fallen out of love a bit with my P-car......after over a year and having put a lot of love (mods) in it the first year...I was done....my P turned into a garage queen! My wife hates the P...too low...to bumpy....uncomfortable (blah blah blah)....and she is pregnant..so I have to be nicer and chauffeur her around a lot in the X5 (nice car...but that's just it nice and comfy)......long story short.....
TODAY: I made up an excuse: I "needed" to scout a location for a photoshoot in the dessert! (which I actually have to do with an SUV!).....EL Mirage dry lake bed.....I planned the route back thru the mountains (which was far out of my way!): angeles forrest highway onto the angeles crest higway....OVER 30MILES OF CURVES!!!!! I was lucky no traffic in front of me....navigation system was my curve buddy and showed me the way.....I didn't take any risks ofcourse....but what a car...in 2nd and sometimes 3rd gear most of the way sport exhaust "screaming" around a almost constant 5000RPM (which should be safe for the engine).
This is the first time that I took my P out for a drive like this....I normally cruise along the PCH...BUT now I finally understand why dell (1st name that came to mind
) went for a GT3 with his track experience...if only I had the guts (and money to burn) I would be on the track every weekend....for now I am planning these curvy trips more often....see if I can get away (with it) about once a week!!
I have a couple of images included (they are very very dirty) my P has never been this dirty before...and I know what to do tomorrow!
Sorry for the long post...but you know when you in love again....you just talk too much about it!!
Very nice, just wondering, when you drive with your side windows up is it to decrease the amount of wind turbulance in the cockpit ? maintain a constant temp. Or does it involve some cult affiliation
Aaron-
Did you take the photo of your car with the tree behind it on skyline drive? That location reminds me of a spot on the drive just south of Thortons Gap, looking East.
I'm down for a good drive too, count me in, just not a 6:15am one. I don't even wake up that early for work, only for track days.
Usually do the mulholland/piuma area but wan't to explore new places.
P car ownership is like that. It sits in your garage, and you wonder what all the fuss is about. It cost too much, it's too small, blah blah.
Then, when you get a chance to DRIVE it, it all make sense again.....
"when you drive with your side windows up is it to decrease the amount of wind turbulance in the cockpit ? maintain a constant temp. Or does it involve some cult affiliation"
--->it decreases the amount of wind turbulence a lot!
"what's your suspension setup?"
---> I lowered my P with H&R's...just because it looks better lower! My wife hates it..she can't get it anywhere without scraping the "lip".
"where did you get your C4 front and rear bumpers? I am thinking about changing mine."
---> bought front bumper and fenders when I did the conversion..from a rennlist user/member, and the back bumper (already modified for narrow body) from a guy called Mishia (he makes wings for 911's)
"
Then, when you get a chance to DRIVE it, it all make sense again....."
---> agree 1000%...what a driving machine and you need a curvy road to really appreciate the P!!
I think I answered all questions! I am still excited about it!! And this coming from a guy who was in the marines (jumped out of airplanes, did a green beret training and was a seal for 8 years!..NOTHING BEATS A PORSCHE!)...or maybe I am just getting older and more easily excited!!
by the way your car IS dirtier Rob...mine was/is just dusty
Cool Pictures!
I like the dirty P Look!! Finally, a true pcar owner, not afraid of a little dirt, using it for what it's meant to be used for! (Verses something out of your grandma's curio cabinet). Refreshing. Fun! Thanks for the pics
They were rebuilding a bridge by my place that took over a year to complete. If I took a back road off my property I had access to an almost two mile section of closed road, it was like my own personal track - I couldn't stop going.
Four letters...
N I C E
Great shot!
I like everything about the car: ride height, wheels, bumpers, etc... aggressive, yet very well balanced. I say it again: N I C E
