Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Came very close to buying an 03 Turbo, but after a thorough test drive, thought it is so insanely fast, it just didn't make sense.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

What is a fair price for an 03 Targa with 12,000 miles on it? Mint condition, Balsalt Black, grey interior, 6spd, sport-sound, a real creampuff. Dealer wants $54,500 to take it this month. I wasn't thinking a Targa but the car is very nice.
Seems reasonable, I have seen similar cars as low as high 40's but most seem to be around 50k with good miles- if you like the car buy it, targa's are different IMO-
I paid $57,000 for mine. It has full soft leather option, 18" carrera wheels, aluminum shifter, brake and gages, antiglare, full power seats, 100K Certified warranty, brand new tires. not even one ding or scratch. Original price with all options was $92K. sounds like your price is pretty good but make sure you get the certified warranty. I just had to get a "new" motor for mine (intermediate shaft knocking) but all covered under the original warranty (23K miles). If this happened after the warranty I would not be nearly so giddy.
My friend just bought (this weekend) an 03 Targa. Arctic silver, dark blue interior, sport seats with silver painted backs, 3 spoke steering wheel, 18" techquipment wheels, and only 14,000 miles. He paid 51,000.00. It was purchased at the dealer. Also a very nice and clean car. 54,000 was their asking price also but were talked down to 51,000. Money talks when you are serious about buying and not just kicking the tires.

The car in question has Heasted seats, 18" Carrera wheels, PSM, power seats, embossed crests, aluminum **** and handbrake lever. The car does not have Xenons but H7 lights...
Sounds About Right - I Say GO FOR IT, ONCE YOU GO TARGA, THERE IS NO GOING BACK ! If Only they made a Targa Roof for the TURBO - PERFECTION IMHO
P.S Gents, My ETA For My TURBO Is JULY 07
You know, you're going to be all excited about the power of the Turbo for about 3 months, then you'll be sitting there, stuck in traffic, going "I should have saved the 30 grand, and bought the 997 C4S Targa, in Burnt Orange."
And that will be the end of that.
Haha - My wife and I were in the same boat.. Came very close to buying an 03 Turbo, but after a thorough test drive, thought it is so insanely fast, it just didn't make sense. You really need to spool up the car before it is a lot of fun. Granted... I live in the northeast, if I lived in a very rural area (Like Montana), turbo all the way! Ross
