Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

The install is easier than the removal. the hardest part is writing on the photos with my mouse in adobe...
oh well, i tried.
1. important, make sure you had battery charged or new battery
2, reconnect the thingys on rear of alt, snap and screw....
3. slide alt back in its space after moving air hoses safely aside.
4. twist the alt clockwise to clear the lower left cradle
5. line up upper right tensioner cradle with front, push tensioner with bolt in, note it will not go all the way. then you can screw in bolt 1/2 way on lower left.
6. now you can take screwdriver slide underneath middle of the alt and gently fit it into place so tensioner bolt lines up with rear of alt then hand tighten.
7. now tighten lower left bolt to specs (see instructions on renntech). then you can tighten upper right to specs, you are almost done.
8. re-attach the air vacuum thingy where it was, then mount in place and tighten screws, then snap in electrical thingy.
9. now take new polyrib belt and put it on as the sequence in photos show, starting with bottom first. Note: in photo, #5 not shown, but believe me it is there in real life and in the directions. follow sequence
10. turn tensioner clockwise and slip belt on, you are really almost done.
11. make sure it all looks ok and belt looks straight. replace air filter and battery and then start it up.
It took a bit less than an hour
Robert - nice write up and pics. Well done! BTW - do you know that you can use MS Paint (if you have a PC, not an Apple) to type text and draw straight or curved lines on your pics? The next time you need to annotate something on a pic, try using MS Paint. It will go much quicker.
