Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

All, I'm in the middle of an AOS install from the front and I broke a plastic coupling where 2 water lines come together. I cannot locate it on any of the parts diagrams on Auto Atlanta's web site. If you look at the engine it is just to the right of the alternator, it has a line that has some braided material cover on it and then a line coming up from the pump area. This coupling is bolted to the engine and does not show up on any diagram. It is plastic and after I removed the clamp I pulled up and it decided to stay on the hose. I would post a pic but photobucket is blocked at work. I need to order this today

POST 2Original post

unless you are Jim.... Mr 1999Porsche911 himself. Why couldnt they just use one long hose with a clamp.... that would be to easy for Germans.

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks, guys its a $4.70 part, it's a part of the AOS system which is why it's not under cooling.
