Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

FYI.....I use the S02 on the track, now on my 3rd set and feel comfy graduating to the MPSC as soon as these go down past the wear bars.

But they won't necessarily make a fuss about it unless you run into issues that could be associated with the tires.

I was running the stock Pirelli P-Zero Asyms on my 2000 C4.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I have a 2004 4S and have just about burned through its first set of tires (back more than front). I am not worried so much about wear, just stick. What tires do you guys recommend?
I was running the stock Pirelli P-Zero Asyms on my 2000 C4. They got to be very loud after 5K miles or so. Just changed to Michelin PS2's. Seem to handle great, but I have only had them on for 2 days. also no rain yet, but I have heard they are very good. Bu the best thing is how quiet they are. Can barely hear any tire noise at all, it make a great deifference in the car.
Just FYI, Porsche doesn't like you to just throw any tires on there that are the right size, they want ones with a particular N spec...N2 and N4 IIRC, not sure though.
But they won't necessarily make a fuss about it unless you run into issues that could be associated with the tires. I recently ordered a pair of rear Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 tires and had them delivered to the dealership for mounting. No problems there.
I guess that all dealerships don't react the same way.
The Michelin PS2's are available in the N spec. But this is really just a Porsche review process. There are a lot of great tires out there that don't have the N spec.
SO2 good. SO3 bad. One is n-spec on isn't . I'll let you figure out which one. Also, one will last longer than the other. Guess which one?

I just went through this for my 4S. The PS2 N rated tire does not come in the stock size for the front, only the rear. For that reason, Tire Rack said to pass on it for the 4S. They said it is ok to not buy an N rated tire but you should not mix N rated and non-N rated.
I really wanted to avoid a directional tire, so that I could swap side to side. My home track is VERY hard on passenger side tires. By swapping I can get a little more life out of them. This left me with few choices. I ordered the Bridgestone RE050A pole positions, based on Tire Rack's Recommendation. It was between those and the Pilot Sport Rib.
If a directional tire is ok with you, I would consider the Goodyear F1 mentioned above or the Yokohama ADVAN Neova AD07, which is in the extreme performance category.
