And one love/hate pair: GT3RS wing (installed by previous owner) and cup front splitter (I added for aero balance).

Honorable mention - replaced the ashtray with the non-smoker’s cubby

Suggestion
Back on point, 1st "mod" that I've already done to my new (to me) 996 C4 Cab is to install a quick disconnect lead to the battery so that it will be easier to hook up my Battery Tender to it.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I'm still not 100% convinced (the cool air part) on this.
As we all know owning one of these cars is so much fun to both drive and modify. There are endless things to do to these machines for all sorts of tastes and applications.
I think it would be interesting to hear what you've done to your 996 that's had a positive impact on your ownership experience and how/why. I'm not looking to discuss what mods one should do to their car or what are the best overall mods to do.
Let's hear the top three things you've done that have made the biggest impact on/for you.
For me:
1.
Fister Exhaust
. (sounds amazing over 3K RPM, no drone and relatively inexpensive)
2.
Function First Shift ****
. (I never liked the factory shift ****, this one feels so much better in the hand than the stock unit)
3.
997.2 GT3 Shift Console
. (shorter throw, smother, tighter gear changes. overall better shifting performance)
I've got a set of RSS engine mounts coming so I'm interested to see where they fall into this equation once installed. Also, I'll definitely be sending out the steering wheel to get re-wrapped and thickened up a bit. Still deciding on Dallas Custom or Carsdream for the work but I suspect it will have a major positive impact.
I can't pick three, but the following make for a great package:
Numeric shifter
Rennline adjustable
accelerator pedal
GT3 steering wheel
FunctionFirst shift console riser
x74 Suspension
Gemballa exhaust/200 cell cats
FunctionFirst shift ****
6GT3 rims
And one love/hate pair: GT3RS wing (installed by previous owner) and cup front splitter (I added for aero balance). Hate the way it looks, love the way they perform.
my best modifications (2003 c4s) to date are:
(1) apple car play compatible touch screen audio receiver with integrated back up camera
(2) fully integrated front and rear facing radar detector system
Living in NJ/NY/PA area the radar detector is worth every penny. combined with WAZE app i can drive as i like without fearing whats hiding behind every blind curve.
i know others dont consider these as real "modifications", but they make MY driving experience a joy.
Which radar system did you go with? I'm in the same region and I've just started researching this so I'm right in the beginning stages of learning more about it.
1 RoW C4S Suspension
2 Tequipment short shifter
3 Gundo hack
I would say that the 19" wheels are before than the Gundo hack, but as they came already with the car...
i had K40 installed in front and rear bumpers, totally invisible and controlled by small remote control i clip to visor. front laser diffuser has two sensors which are visable in front grill. i used two of my unused center console buttons for visual "blue light" warnings (either front or back) and the system also gives vocal warnings as to what "band" is hitting you. the system has many settings and first few days i had to get used to multiple warnings from road signs/electronic doors/etc, but after changing settings i now only get REAL warnings. When it goes off i'm immediately on the brake and then the hunt to see where "they" are! then my wife and i laugh when we see source coming around the next bend 20 seconds after i've been warned.
had it installed at high performance shop in morrisville, PA. great service in case you want a referral.
Here are my top 3... grrr I couldn't settle on 3, here are 4.
Fister exhaust -
I'd consider this mandatory and would do it again in a heartbeat.
IMS Solution -
Worry free ownership now
Garage door switch -
Wired up a targa roof toggle switch to my garage door opener and now have a totally factory looking way to open my garage door without an ugly opener in sight.
Valentine 1 -
Not much point in driving a 911 if you can't open it up on back roads. Knowing there isn't a cop coming the other way with his radar on is a good feeling (2 of my 3 tickets happened this way prior to purchasing the V1)
1) Milltek exhaust; sounds great when "on it", but nice and quiet when cruising.
2) Eibach Pro-Kit springs; ride height is perfect and comfort is still good; these were on the car when I bought, so it wasn't a mod I did, but it's a good choice. These cars don't look right at the normal US ride height.
3) Targa switch for garage door opener, as others have mentioned.
4) 3-blink turn signal modification
5) Last would be cosmetic touches that make the car look the way I want; smoked turn signal lenses, headlight washer delete, brushed nickel and black hood badge, silver center console, LED city lights, LED frunk and engine compartment lights, etc.
Mine came with Aerokit front bumper, IMS Solution and Fabspeed mufflers.
My favorites that Ive added:
1) coilovers & Michelin Super Sport 4S
2) Function first shift **** & 997 GT3 shifter
3) Aerokit spoiler and side skirts
coming this weekend if I dont get called into work again:
1) powder coated red calipers & steel braided hoses
2) fabspeed x-pipe & RSS underdrive pulley
Here's a great tutorial video that documents it. If I remember correctly, my opener was slightly different but you can get most of the details from this video. Also, check out in the comments section, I posted a correction related to the wiring if you want the switch to light up.
You Tube
1. Ohlins R&T suspension:
one word awesome upgrade and perfect match for the 996
2. 200cell cross-over cats + Cargraphic Sound mufflers:
the real flat six sound even more pronounced and some extra punch when revving hard.
3. Tiptronic to Manual conversion:
no comments
Apology in advance if this is a stupid question. Fister exhaust and Gundo hack, does this replicate factory sports exhaust sound? Can you have factory sports exhaust and modify for even better sound or are these 2 mods for cars without factory se?
thanks
1.
Fister Exhaust:
Its nice to get some sound out of the car rather than it sounding like a sewing machine. Also nice not to have to spend $1200 on a muffler set that will either be too quiet or drone.
2.
ROW M030 Kit and suspension refresh
: Car handles like new and everything is nice and tight without the compromises of going too low and competing with the "hellaflush" crowd.
3.
GT3 Console Delete
: I'm 6'6" and this mod TRANSFORMED my driving experience. I have room to spare now and can be in the car for any length of drive without complaint.
Honorable Mention:
1. B&M Shifter: Factory 115K mile shifter assembly was sloppy. I'm happy with how this has tightened up the shifting but i'm wondering how much better a Numeric shifter (or even a CAE) would be. Law of diminishing returns? We'll likely find out sooner or later
2. 17" Wheels: I like having a little extra sidewall for comfort and for pothole protection. The factory 17" wheels look great, are plenty strong and are a bit lighter than their 18" counterparts. Tires are cheaper also
This is a hard one for me... I've modded everything
That stick out the most
Exhaust
Body kit
full suspension/bushings.
Car drives and feels like new, very happy with making changes on such a fun car.
1) FSI Stage II Track Performer engine build
2) Bilstein B8 sport struts/shocks with H&R sport springs, & adjustable sways/droplinks
3) Numeric shifter & cables
4) Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires
5) Agency Power Headers (w/Fabspeed Maxflo mufflers) - not so much driving wise but the sound is nice.
Very interesting to see peoples different tastes. Next thing I have to tackle is the suspension so I can get rid of the fat American ride height. Also debating Fabspeed sport cats to pair with my Fisters... still researching that. And possibly an IDP intake plenum and GT3 throttle body but that would be well down the road (no pun intended).
X74 is an amazing setup. Add some GT3 control arms in the front and you have an amazing package.
Mine came on my car, so I don't know where to get them now.
Gert at Carnewal would probably be a great person to ask, even if they don't appear on the website.
If you need to piece it together, springs are available at Elephant Racing -

Shocks are available at Carnewal -

Seriously? Noise-maker and a shift ****? Well, ok - different strokes and all that.
1. IMS upgrade
2. Center Rad and low temp thermo for cooling
3. Starter/alt Y cable
YMMV
Has anyone installed the following items and are they worth the upgrade in performance?
- Throttle response module (aka Pedal Commander, Sprint Booster)
- IPD Plenum
Thanks in advance for your input.
Double din apple play radio
Garage door opener with factory button
Tubi Exhaust
No particular order, but I think the garage door is the most practical one in my opinion.
Only had the car for a little over a month but so far...
Short shifter
Clutch pedal assist spring delete
Rattle/buzz elimination the day I discovered felt tape
Honorable mention:
High-end Android double din head unit
.
Had the sprint booster in the tiptronic era. It was useful to trick the tiptronic control to shift to a more agressieve mapping faster. Now with a manual I do not feel the need as I am pushing the throttle pretty hard already.
Running now with Standard IPD plenum after having the competition plenum with the langer throttle body. Did not like the intake sound bypassing the resonator.
I am still of the opinion that shocks upgrade is the most bang for the buck. When the cars get older the shocks deteriorate. And nowadays 15-20yrs later technology advanced and you can get much better stuff for decent money!
For mine:
1. 997 shifter with Function First Shift Right Solution upgrade.
2. Clutch Pedal assist spring mod.
3. Function First transmission mount inserts.
Next up will be the Fisters, and the Ohlin suspension.
For me, this car has taken me to a different dimension of what "spirited" driving is. I get better at driving it everyday. It may sound strange, but the car sure seems a lot faster the longer I have owned it. Maybe I'm just getting used to using the power correctly. This Mod thread is great. There seems to be a pretty good consensus on the most popular mods. There were some mods I had in mind that were hardly mentioned. Pretty much answered my questions on those.
Kyle
1. IMS upgrade. (Peace of mind)
2. Double-din radio conversion with Apple car play
3. Black and white “checkers” coco mats
Honorable mention - replaced the ashtray with the non-smoker’s cubby
All of these are small compared to most of the mods here - but as a daily driver they make the experience great. Next up will be some suspension work - either just renewing the stock suspension or considering ROW M030, but want to make sure it does not ride too harshly - the roads here are pretty awful.
Daryll
1. Fisters
2. PSS10, Euro ride height and GT3 alignment
3. Euro GT3 seats
My top three but many more done.
I dont consider Michelins a mod but if you get tires nothing else compares.
WP, IMSS, Low T, Mag Drain plug all maintenance items I dont consider a mod, but done.
2003 Carrera Aero
1)
Suspension
- Complete Techart Suspension package including front strut brace. Together with the Dassport Roll Bar made car very rigid, lowered 33mm and handling is superb.
2)
Engine
- IPD Comp Plenum with GT3 throttle body, BMC filter. Kline 1 5/8" equal length long tube headers, 200 Cell X pipe and Tubi mufflers. RSS underdrive pulley. RSS semi solid mounts. Aasco LWFW, Sachs Stage II Pressure plate and Sprung Clutch disc. LN Single Row Pro IMS, Tarret X51 Oil Baffle. Skid Plate. Evoms Stage IV tune.
3)
Wheels / Tires
- Cargraphic 18"9" & 18"11" 3 piece wheels with Sumitomo III tires. 295s in the rear, giving 24" of contact surface in the rear.
Miscellaneous
- Numeric shifter & cables. Coated Stainless brake lines. Techart Style GT3 flat bottom steering wheel. Ecliptech II Progressive shift light.
Yes, for my 02 Tip, the Sprint Booster is a nice upgrade. For those who have driven my car before and after, it is very noticeable and improved.
Top 3 mods for my vehicles...
02 Cab Tip (daily driver):
1). H&R Lowering Springs
2). Sprint Booster
3). Soon to be installed (full suspension set-up from Slakker)
99 Coupe Manual (mostly track):
1). BB mufflers (sound great to me, much lighter than the stock set-up)
2). H&R RSS Coilovers (Love them, but will be replaced by Ohlins soon)
3). 997 Shifter with FF metal bushings, FF Trans Insert, FF Motor mounts (shifting feels proper to me)
[QUOTE=DGI;15946816]1.
3. GT3 Console Delete: I'm 6'6" and this mod TRANSFORMED my driving experience. I have room to spare now and can be in the car for any length of drive without complaint.
Interested in knowing what this is, being 6'5 and getting older, my 04 C4S seems to be shrinking as I get in it weekly! Thanks
1) GT3 console delete. If you're 6' or taller and/or leggy, this is hands-down the kindest thing you can do for yourself.
2) Nailing a curb (and ruining one of the 19's that came on the car) - 19" wheels and the requisite tires ruined the ride and handling.
3) Rear seat delete / rear parcel shelf / subwoofer / inverter / relay jobby thing - removing those useless seats and doing something productive with the space; now I have a 10" powered sub and a fairly secure place to hide stuff...
(I have since eliminated that split-loom wire harness...)
I don't have any build threads or anything others than some garage pictures taken with a phone. Maybe just pm direct if you have questions so this thead doesn't get hijacked.
I haven't done many mods because the car feels so awesome already, but from daily usability standpoint this has to be the best one:
VW Lupos 1din cupholder, magnetic tablet holders and radio relocation.
That parcel shelf looks great. I'm looking at doing something similar for my Targa in order to take advantage of the space. Did you just cut that yourself and add the carpet or is there a place out there selling these?
I don't have sexy mods but..
1) Techart Wheels (real
)
2) Aerokit (knockoff
)
3) Spin-on Filter & Magnetic Drain Plug
Full disclosure: I'm just posting & contributing to point out I still equal parts love and hate
@lowpue
. Rock on, brother.
Couldn't miss all the branding decals, etc. Here is what google gave me. Lost of info here:

"
485hp version of the 6.2L LS3 in crate engine form, and ordered the necessary conversion parts from Renegade Hybrids.
"
I guess I'll update this since I got the car back...
1) FSI - Stage II Track performer Engine Build (3.8L)
2) Numeric Racing shifter w/cables
3) IPD Competition Plenum/ GT3 82mm throttle body
4) Aluminum gauge rings! (had to include these)
^^ It really doesn't look any different except for the fact that I've installed a 997 3.8 airbox, and the GT3 TB and IPD intake plenum. The sound is slightly different, but the real surprise comes at 3k-3200... it just pushes you back in the seat - pretty amazing.
What do you think you gained with the GT3 TB and IPD plenum over stock? I have the Evom airbox so would keep that on my 3.8l Stage II. But i've thought about the other items.
I don't know yet, can't say for sure - as the ECU is still adapting (I assume - I've only got a couple hundred miles on it so far). I can say that the car is running great - very smooth (seems slightly smoother/quieter with the IPD/GT3 combo believe it or not). It certainly hasn't lost any power/torque but I can't really say it's gained any either - The bump from stock 3.4 to the Stage II 3.8 was huge, so it's hard to gauge a more subtle change. Either way, the thing is a beast. I'm supposed to contact FSI when I've put 500 mi. on the car and send them data logs. They'll then build tune to optimize parameters for the TB/Plenum. One thing I can comment on is that the gas mileage seems slightly better with the new combo. I was averaging about 19.1 mpg before (granted, new motor), but it has jumped to 21.4 mpg with the new tb/plenum (I just drove it about 100 mi. over the weekend - fairly aggressively - and the avg. still seems to be climbing).
Wheels
wheel
seat
Function over form. I forgot how much a bucket seat keeps you planted and let's you concentrate on the corners. The wheel doesn't have to be gripped as tight, as you don't need to hold on to it to keep you in your seat.
Great to see these mods with pictures.
I also upgraded my steering wheel. But kept it more OEM like with the T96 wheel from DTMS with the original airbag.
Seeing your seats makes me remember that I have also still a mods to-do list. Maybe nice to also post your top 3 mods you still like to do.
mine are aimed at weight reduction and looks
1. OZ leggera 19inch wheels: 1-2kg less of inspiring mass per wheel over the lightest OEM option (Carrera 5-spoke). And I would be able to run Michelin PS4s
2. Recaro Pole Position: much lighter, better planted in the seat. Drawback will be the accessibility tot the rear seats. My two kids like to drive in the 996 too! A compromise would be the Recaro Sportster CS.
3. Center console in exterior color (polar silver)
4. Rebuild the brake calipers and paint them a custom blue color (Acid Blue or RAL colour that matches best)
okay they are already 4 now
Just got my 2000 C4 Cab a few days ago. Glad to see that there really aren't many mods necessary for this car. Already spent way too much $ modding my 2008 BMW 335i.
The Fister exhaust and a new shifter seem very popular. After taking the car for my 1st solo drive yesterday, I could see doing the shifter mod; had a bit of a problem picking the right gear which may be more a problem of a lack of familiarity w/the car than a problem w/the shifter itself. I like the sound of the exhaust as it is but my opinion may change over time.
The car came w/Nexm N3000 tires on it. There are many reports of defects w/this tire; inside sidewall cracking. Will have to take a look at that. Even w/o this problem, they could do w/an upgrade, even though they seem to handle well and look virtually brand new. I've got Michelin Pilots on my 335i, which would be my replacement tires of choice. There's also a K&N cone filter that came w/the car; don't see any reason to replace it unless someone can give me a good reason why.
Like my 2000 Toyota MR2 (which also only has an aftermarket cone filter mod), I hope there isn't any need to do much to the C4 other than just drive it and service it regularly.
Congrats!
I suggest you sit back and research as much as you can about the known issues these cars have. Several preventative measures can be taken to try and avoid catastrophic failure...But, they are great driving cars when sorted/maintained properly.
Congrats and welcome!
As for the K&N, most folks dont like these filters on Porsches. The stock airbox flows quite well. If its sound you are after, there are way to get good sound with the stock airbox by removing the resonator.
Why? Any problems associated w/using the K&N filter? Don't have the original air box and assume it would be expensive to buy one to return it to stock.
Did check on the Nexen N3000 tires. No recalls and no NHTSA complaints filed about them. Only found 1 anecdotal report of inner side wall cracking w/the N3000 but most of the complaints filed seem to be about CP571 and N5000. Taking the car in for an oil/filter change (it's due for it based on the service records that I received) as well as a general inspection. Will tell the shop manage to take a close look at the inner side walls of the Nexens.
If you dont oil the filter, its not as effective at trapping dirt. If you do oil it, the MAF can get dirty. Other than that, youd want to check that its actually pulling in cool air like the original one.
Sucks hot air in from the engine bay - there was also a thread where due to some altered parameters in sizing it was affecting the MAF reading as well - can't remember exactly what it was though.
@Porschetech3
was all over it - our resident airflow mathematician/996 extraordinaire.
I don't have personal experience with the K&N on the 996, but there seems to be a lot of concern that the oil from the K&N can cause premature failure of the mass air flow (MAF) sensor. Also, unless the K&N is connected to the cold air intake, it will be getting air from the engine compartment, which is warmer than the cold air intake on the stock
air filter
(warmer air will probably negate (at least) any gains from increased filter flow (if there is any with the K&N)). I don't know how K&N filtering compares to stock
air filter
, but keeping impurities out of the 996 is more important than most cars. Oil is key to the K&N -- too much oil and it might cause an MAF issue, not enough and it won't filter as well.
Hopefully an expert will chime in to provide more clarity on these potential concerns (either confirm or debunk), but it's worth looking further to see if retaining the K&N is a good idea.
Many people on RL have replaced their stock 996 airbox with a 997 unit (for cosmetics only, there is no performance benefit), so there probably is no shortage of people who will sell you an OEM 996 airbox at a reasonable price.
.
I'm still not 100% convinced (the cool air part) on this.
Have you looked at the bottom of the stock airbox?
Raising the spoiler drops the temp by 8* on average.
Thanks for the info!
Won't debate the topic here but I do recall that I had to clean the MAF in my MR2 (which also has an aftermarket cone filter, not K&N, another brand, which also came w/that car) when the idle became erratic.
Was pretty easy to clean the MAF on that car. Assume it's more involved w/the 3.4L Porsche engine. Will look into how to clean the MAF on the 3.4L and how to get/reinstall the original 996 air box if necessary. FWIW, I'm not inclined to devote any time or $ to do the swap if the K&N is not causing any problems, which is doesn't seem to be doing at this time.
Back on point, 1st "mod" that I've already done to my new (to me) 996 C4 Cab is to install a quick disconnect lead to the battery so that it will be easier to hook up my Battery Tender to it.
I'm aware of the warnings that the car needs to be driven regularly to keep it running properly but the C4 Cab is my 6th car and obviously will not be driven daily. It's a fun car to drive, so I'll try to drive it as often as possible but it's not likely to be driven more than once a week, if that. My MR2 has gone months w/o being driven w/o any ill effects but I'm aware that I need to be more proactive in making use of the 996.
The 2nd mod" that I plan to do (which I've done for all of my cars) is to buy a pair of front floor liners (mats) from Weathertech. I don't intentionally drive any of my "sports cars" in the rain but the Weathertech mats are excellent in dealing w/the dust/dirt/grime/mud that can easily accumulate on the floor even when it's not raining.
The 3rd mod will be to replace the shifter, if I still have problems "finding" the proper gears after I've driven the car for awhile; the Numeric will probably one I'd get in that case.
Hopefully, I won't need to do more than this.
Update
: Again, I do not intend to debate the matter and am just reporting what I've found out. As I said, my 2000 C4 Cab came w/a K&N filter in it but I didn't previously notice that it was a "Drycharger" which was specifically designed for 911s and does NOT require oiling. K&N claims this filter increases power by up to 23HP at 5500 RPM. I have no way to prove or disprove this claim and am not touting it as the "truth." Just reporting what K&N says
here
. But, since this particular filter does not require oiling and was specifically designed for the car, I'm just going to leave it in.
^^ Make sure you lock the doors when you park it (you shouldn't get any "beeps" if everything is properly closed/locked) - If you don't the battery will drain much faster. This ain't no MR2...
Thanks for the tip!
Yes, I know the C4 is no MR2 but the MR2 is still fun to drive too. It's slow in terms of acceleration and top speed but it drives like a slot car on the back roads and has been problem free for 15 years Can't ask for much more than that. The car is hardly worth selling in terms of the $ (it's only valued about about $7k tops) and the only reason I'd sell it is if I ran out of space to store it. Don't have that problem yet, even w/6 cars.
Sorry for the delay answering. I made it myself out of 5/8" plywood; it's bolted into the rear seat mount points to keep it from becoming a projectile if I ever stuff the car into a wall.
For me it would have to be:
1-RSS Tarmac motor mounts w/Function First tranny inserts.
2-EBS underdrive pulley
3-Eibach Pro-Kit
Honorable mentions:
Schnell SSK, BBS CH-R(lightweight), LN-IMS retrofit, FVD Brombacher deep sump baffled oil pan, Garage door opener mod, Rennline bump steer kit, Fabspeed Maxflow Mufflers.
Not sure if it was worth it mods...
iPD Intake Plenum, Top Gear high flow catted x-pipe(BIG BORE), Fabspeed Intake,
and of course, again the IMS retro fit(I didn't do enough research on the 99' to know it was a dual row already, didn't stop the local shop from selling it to me)
1.- Muffler Bypass (gundo hack)
2.- One touch convertible up-down
3.- Garage Door opener
Have several other mods that rank high as well:
4.- Double Din radio install
5.- On board computer display
6.- Spoiler up-down moved to center console....with indicator
7.- Short throw shifter
Folks,
Has anyone done colour matched background for instrument dials? I'm just curious if anyone had a great resource to use for maybe doing a custom colour, and/or new redline?
-Matt
I haven't seen custom color-matched dials, but if you find them, make sure they aren't sticker overlays. The factory option color-matched dials were overlays that bubbled over time. It was a very expensive option that looked horrible a few years later.
Boy oh boy...I think I paid around 80.00 for mine years ago...from Robo-Top....he stopped selling them, and the website does not exist anymore...
this was one of the original threads years ago (dating back to 2011):
https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...-996-cabs.html
On the other hand...here is the expensive version:

Jeez, That is an expensive version, hahaha... Not sure its worth $350+ but it would be great to have... Maybe someone will have one used on marketplace at some point in the future...
1. Removing P.O muffler deletes and putting gundo hacked stock exhaust ( miss the scream from the motor but not the drone
2. Full suspension rebuild with KONI / Eibach
3. The new plastic Porsche floormats (like weathertech but factory)
Only 3 mods I have done so far...
For overall handling and performance
1. PSS9s
2. Brembo big brake kit
3. LSD
and
4. GT3 seats
side note: did revo software, fvd cats and muffler, BMC filter, IPD competition plenum and GT3 throttle body. Not certain if I gained any HP or torque, but it certainly sounds better.
For durability
1. IMS retrofit kit
2. GT3 oil separator
3. Bigger oil pan for more oil (forget which one).
Sounds like a great list, can I ask for more details?
1). Which LSD and where was it installed?
2). Pics of your car, sounds fantastic.
3). How much time do you track and where?
Thanks for the questions.
1. Guard LSD. Many of the 996s came without a LSD. Critical for car control on the track.
2. I will certainly post pictures soon. Just gotta find them.
3. Yes, I have been tracking the car since 2004. Exterior is seal grey and looks like any other 996c2 until I figure out what to do for aero to upgrade the look and functionality. However, the car is completely set up for the track including the rollbar, harnesses and everything else I mentioned in my original reply.
4. Track the car at Road America, Blackhawk Farms, Autobahn with the Chicago region.
Love the feel of the car, it's lightness and steering response. Certainly would love more horsepower but that will come in a much later project of turning it into a 3.8 or 4.0 someday.
