Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

For the hose to the right, do I pull the rubber hose off the plastic connector nipple or does the plastic piece the rubber hose connects to disconnect some how?

I crushed one of the plastic holders that hold the wires that run along the fuel rail.

These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I think I asked this before but never got a definitive answer. For the hose to the right, do I pull the rubber hose off the plastic connector nipple or does the plastic piece the rubber hose connects to disconnect some how? The hose to the left that connects to tank, am I best off not trying to take off until I lower the motor? I got the clamp off. Cant get hand in since problem mentioned above blocks.
Thanks.

Disconnects from the metal tube squeeze 2 tabs and pull apart it is under pressure as it is the fuel supply I believe, Dont do it when the car is hot
BTW it is a nylon tube sheathed in rubber for protection, it will not come off the nipple without cutting .
I lowered motor as far as it would go I believe and still couldnt get out. Unattached everything. I believe I was hitting this gold thing in the picture. Anyhow I raised motor back up and torqued nuts to 63 ft lbs. I think I will wait until I get a second set of hands.
Anyhow, any suggestions for my next go around? The motor will only drop so far correct?
If it's just the cap/nut on the fuel rail blocking you, take it off. You're so close to wrapping this saga up!
Yes the motor only goes down a couple on inches.
Okay, so no surprises; it not spring loaded or anything where parts are going to shoot out. I wont need a special tape or sealer when I reinstall? I know I ask a lot of questions.
Thanks
You have to be very careful with the level sensor. If you can get your hand in there, remove it before pulling out the old tank. It just twists and unlocks. I broke mine but it wasn't noticeable until I put the new tank in. Doh! I have a Porsche dealer just 3 miles away so it wasn't a big deal except that I had to do the job twice. The sensor is only about $30.
It's likely that fuel will leak (or spray) out if you undo that fuel line nut. Use some rags to catch it.
Thanks. Got the gas part off. Ill take another stab at the switch later. It certainly turns. I can see the lock moving out of sight but not pulling out. Ill wait until I lose again.
thanks.
Done. Well I think. When I took to fluid out, I took from drain next to water pump. Would that drain the radiators? Also, is the switch on the coolant tank for level or to kick off the fans in the front?
I had son help, hes more heavy handed then me.
Thanks all for the help, hopefully this chapter is over.
I need to get more coolant in. I ran out of time. I crushed one of the plastic holders that hold the wires that run along the fuel rail. Do these just pop in, pop out?
The red arrow. Thanks for all the help. I really appreciate it.
