Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I'm with you on the tear down after rallys like that to clean and check for wear and damage.

That is what Rally is about...spectators lining the route to see who gets run over if and when the cars drift out of control!

Also @ 1:2o, 1:58, 2.:54, 3:07...I'm going to say E-brake to set his 911 up in some of the corners.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Okay - I am a dummy....but, what does the red light on the dash tell the driver? It doesn't look like it is for redline..........it seems to come on in the middle of the RPMs
Enlighten me
+1 and the fact that they are just tearing through a farm with a whole bunch of cows on the left (about 0:40). It looks like it just warning tape holding the cows back but as it goes on there appears to be a fence.
I think the red light is the radar detector but he seems to be handling that situation properly
The fancy traction control models do have a light that comes on when it engages. Possibly he remoted the idiot light since he likes to keep his attention on business.
I don't think think the fans leaning into the track were smart. Couldn't believe they were doing it but I guess no marshalls or possibly it's their land.

I got a headache watching that.
I don't know how the passenger can sit there and read his notebook without heaving all over the place.
I also wonder after watching these kinds of videos - I absolutely baby my car and never even come close to exploring the edge of it's abilities - so why does stuff still break on my car?
I think I drive my 911 waaaayyyy to carefully... I should try that off-road feature one of these days.... Not!
BTW - around 3:49 and 4:21 the driver pulls a lever down, located just slightly above the shifter. Any idea what that could be? Some traction setup?
And nice close call around 3:30.
Thanks!
For the few comments about babying your car.....I have to say that most of the time I do too but I have pushed it to maybe 50% of what this guy was doing on some mountainous roads here and I can tell you the adrenalin rush is intoxicating and the car just takes it and takes it without complaint. Amazing cars, I love that car!

I can't believe how many fans would risk their lives sitting basically on the track! Wild driving skills, from the paved roads to the dirt. Pretty cool, wonder how fast he was going?
These cars were designed and built to be
driven!
Any Porsche owner who doesn't drive like this on a routine basis is wasting their car, and really doing themselves a disservice. Tire chirp at just within the limit of traction is as intoxicating a sound as the exhaust note, and WAY more fun
I love this video, and wish at the same time that we were the one's rebuilding his gearbox. LOL
Did anyone happen to notice the aggressive nature of a couple of those downshifts into 2nd and 1st gear? I can pretty much guaranty that he has to have his gearbox rebuilt after every event.. If not a change out in the middle somewhere. Great driving though and I really appreciate the post. Makes me want to get back to navigating again.
In reference to the question of loosing your stomach on stage, it does happen from time to time, you just suck it up and keep on going.

I went back and watched it again and enjoyed it even more knowing he wasn't going to prang it. I was listening to see if I could detect the whine of straight gut gear teeth but I think porsche trans from the factory are already running a minor straight cut and not a full blown rock crusher style of teeth.
I'm with you on the tear down after rallys like that to clean and check for wear and damage. Even the shocks shafts have to cleaned to prevent seals from getting messed up.
I'm not sure if the video is the race teams post or others. The person does have other videos posted. There could be some possible browsing to the racers website or other links to find who it was at least. Some times you never know. Could just be some fun loving guys banging away like they've always wanted to. They sure have some fans out there.
