This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

10 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

1 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

anybody has had this problem?? A couple of times now when I use my remote key (wilhelmty(?) the top doesn't open or close completely.....the top goes completely down but the cover stays up about 7 inches..same when I close the top that way....... anybody know how to fix this problem??

POST 2Original post

Nicolaas, I have had exactly the same... maybe it's the Germans getting nasty with us Dutchies!! Actually spoke with Stephan at Wilhelmy about this and he told me that he had never heard of this issue. He recommended me to push in the contact buttons next to the hook that grasps onto the windshield to 'reset' the top. Did this and haven't had this issue happen since (about 2 weeks ago). Let me know what you find out.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I as thinking about this....(the contact buttons) but than dismissed it as being to easy...I will try it tomorrow and hope this will fix the problem! thanks Dutchie...funny nickname!!

POST 4Original post

Voor een Nederlander niet echt grappig... by the way, in NL deze week en wat een teringweer!!!! Regen, regen en nog eens regen!

POST 5Original post

are the lil flaps going all the way up/down try lubing the treaded rods that they run on if they stick u will have that issue

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

POST 7Original post

POST 8Original post

Firehawk is right, I had exactly the same problem as you Nicolaas due to one of the little flaps were to slow due to missing lubrication. I think the Wilhelmy thing works also as a sort of timer. If all the processes havent happend within a certain time, it stops. A little lube fixed the problem. Good luck.

POST 9Original post

Can someone post a picture of what you're talking about?

POST 10Original post
