Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.

0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.

Suggestion

its called PSE and with the switch of a button you change the muffler from 3 chamber to 2 via a by-pass pipe on on the exterior of the muffler that allows the gas flow to skip the third chamber and dump straight out the back - adds about 33% noise volume and no drone

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Guys this question is directed to all of those who are aware of the Corvette C6 Exhaust Mild to Wild Switch. Is this option available for our P-cars? Ive got a Z06 and the Mild to Wild Switch is a really good option sometimes. Cheers, G

POST 2Original post

Search Porsche Sport Exhaust (PSE). Also Kreissieg F1 Valvetronic (super high end $$$$)

POST 3Original post

POST 4Original post

I have welded in "wild" no need for mild as wild isn't stupid loud

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Im asking because i have EP and it's catless/ Where did you order the switch ROK.

POST 6Original post

He has PSE.... Just get a good aftermarket sport exhaust and save 20lbs off the rear. Think of it like right now you have an extra 20lb bag of kitty litter/dog food strapped on your bumper, ha.

POST 7 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thing is, i do have an aftermarket exhaust, but i wanted to know if the mild to wild option is even available generally speaking

POST 9Original post

I had a qtp exhuast cutout on my 99 A4 avant....sounded insane...all you heard was the turbo spooling.

POST 10Original post

Jorge, it looks like you're in a GT2 or turbo, and I while I can't speak authoritatively on the availability of any switched exhausts for the turbo/GT2 specifically, the PSE (Porsche Sport Exhaust) mentioned here does not apply to the turbo or GT2. The exhaust on the turbo cars is of a substantially different design and layout compared to the naturally aspirated cars (Carrera / GT3) to accommodate the turbocharging system. I would post this in the turbo forum on 6speed, specifically regarding installing something to silence the EP exhaust on the 996 turbo/GT2 with the push of a button. Someone there or on the rennlist turbo forum has definitely gone down this same line of thinking. I would also contact EP directly BTW, Ed, here's someone who might want/need some of those GT2 parts you bought (I can't believe you missed that!)

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
