Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I have never actually used the brush to scrub the top just very lightly used it to spead the soap around.

Someone used a garment steamer to "iron out" the creases and had success with it.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hello everyone, I've had a few ripples in my top for a year or so now ever since I had some work done on my top, it's just starting to bother me. Does anyone know how to straighten this back out or pull it tighter to get rid of the creases and ripples? You can see where it looks bunched together on the bottom corner behind the rear window.
Thanks in advance for any help.
Maybe that is a quick adjustment the dealer could do? Maybe an hour of labor? I am not sure so I can't speak to it but sounds like something your SA could take a gratis peek at.
Should the top be periodically treated with any type of conditioner or protectant. I have just been occasionally washing mine with soap and water using a soft brush. The top is still in great shape I just want to make sure it stays that way.
Thanks,
Kris
Either Raggtop or the Porsche Teq CAB kit. Personally I have the Teq CAB kit. Comes in a very cool case to boot!
As for cleaning the top. I have NEVER cleaned it with a brush, etc. Just a nice spray every once in a while to get dirt, etc, off the top. Using a brush, etc, over time with break down the protectant quickly as well break down the material much more quickly than natural aging.
Unless you have stains you need to reomve just a quick rinse and then dry will do the trick.
Woody...no suggestions only that it should not be that way.
Kris...Use RaggTopp cleaner and protectant at least once a year.

Forgot to post a pic.......here is the Teq CAB kit:
Cabrio Kit, intended for use with all fabric-topped Porsches, includes leather cleaner, leather conditioner, exterior and top shampoo, convertible top protectant/conditioner, cabrio rear-window cleaner, interior window cleaner, & an excellent body wax. Also includes a chamois and polishing/cleaning cloths as well as a usage booklet. Individual refills available in stock. Aluminum case has built-in lock for child/teen proofing.
Now that is one impressive case! I will get a conditioner and protectant to put on it. I have never actually used the brush to scrub the top just very lightly used it to spead the soap around. The wash mit would always leave fibers on the top so that is why I went with the brush.
Thanks for the help.
I guess now we can put this back on topic, sorry for hijacking the thread.
I did not see any way to adjust the top to stretch it tighter. If I have the top stored down for a while sometimes there are some small wrinkles, but the top comes back to shape usually in less than an hour or so.

Someone used a garment steamer to "iron out" the creases and had success with it. Leaving the top down for a long time causes this. It's a downside to using hardtop as well. I always leave my top up when parked over night.
