Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

1 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Was attempting to open my glove box yesterday and the handle popped off a bit. Is this something that can be fixed or should it just be replaced? I didn't have a chance to look at it too much but will try this evening. Only the right side where the key goes in is loose - the other side seems to be okay. Wow that's two interior repairs in two weeks!

POST 3Original post

Unfortunately, the MkII 996 is built around the glove box handle. You will have to replace the entire car to fix it!

Later cars added it for some strange reason. I think it went below the passenger air bag.
