Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.
Suggestion
Any other high performance engine I've had really needs remapping or tuning the carbs for changing back pressure.
Leading evidence: 'Replace back pressure' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Replace back pressure' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

quick question for those who have hacked their mufflers... i just had my mufflers hacked today where they connect the two pipes together.. picked up the mufflers from the shop and noticed that there seems to be something rattling inside them. i'm thinking its probably from the shavings when they cut the holes and maybe some welds floating around the muffler... sounds like little pebbles rattling in there.. its in both mufflers.. didnt remember hearing them when i brought them in... question can i just stick a vacuum tube in there and suck em out... and if i leave the stuff in there will it harm the engine at all... thanks.

no harm will come from stuff in there - it might drive you crazy !
try and rotate them in a way to get the stuff to come out the largest outlet BEFORE mounting them....
post pics
do you know what the inside looks like? I will try and find something, that might help you in trying to roll the stuff towards the exit as you cannot see in there

there are some pics that might help you see how the insides look so you can figure out how to rotate the junk out
Would be way simpler if glass pack makers like Thrush or the old Cherry Bomb mufflers were made for 911's. Way lighter and more breezes for the engine.
I've never seen anybody talk about any amount of back pressure the stock exhaust system has. Any other high performance engine I've had really needs remapping or tuning the carbs for changing back pressure. Anybody know what's up with my baby the porsche?
I did the complete Ztech stainless exhaust. Then I had the REVO ecu done. Since I had a complete exhaust, they bumped it up to the REVO Stage 2 which is made to match the free flow exhaust system.
pac996, man that brings back some memories, back when i had the vega with a 350 in it with 2 - 4's, & the 340 dodge demon, wish i still had it, it would be worth a lil' bit today.
The tilting the cans around is the best bet. Get a diagram of them and work from there figuring the best tilt and shake method of routing the debri out of there.
Those 340's I could swear were the fastest off the line cars made in the good old days. I'm sure the demons and dusters dusted a lot of guys.
i've seen where alot of guys on here have went with the fisterD, whats the difference with these, or they louder, difference price wise, i was lookin on sponsors list, want to keep it in the family, but i didn't see darin with fisterD, are they not a sponsor.
