Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I'm going to check out a CPO 04 996 that's moderately loaded with 12K miles at a Dealership tomorrow. It has leather, power and heated seats, and PSM, and the asking price is $58K. If I like the car after the test drive, I'll offer them $55K. What do you guys think?

POST 2Original post

can always try.....never give them what they ask!

POST 3Original post

What's the color of the exterior, interior, what type of wheels does it have, does it have Bi-Xenons and which stereo is in it? If it has Bi-Xenons, 18" Carrera wheels, Bose, 6-disc changer and is in the more popular colors (Silver, Gray, Black with Black or Gray interior) then it is already a pretty good deal. If it is in the less popular colors (red or yellow), odd color interior or less equipment; then you will have more room to negotiate. Regardless, your stategy is a good one for proceeding.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Seal gray exterior, charcoal interior,bi-xenons,bose ,PSM, heated seats ,and I expect that the wheels are stock 17". The car looks good on paper, but I'll have to see in person.
