Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I'm actually thinking of buying the ceramic coating and products he used, they're available on Amazon.

Suggestion
Generally my paint correction and coating jobs are $900+ these days, although I do have a cheaper option but the packages I usually recommend are a better value.
Leading evidence: 'Use they're available' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Recommend are a better value' (1 discussions). These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

There is no difference, the results are the same and not dependent on transmission type.
Great videos of a guy in the UK doing a super detail/paint correction/ceramic coating. I learned a lot from watching them. I'm actually thinking of buying the ceramic coating and products he used, they're available on Amazon.
Enjoy!
Edit: Forgot to add that my car is the same exterior/interior color!

Does this mean that in your opinion it is appropriate to detail only 996s with a manual transmission? Why?
Mine is a Tip C4S like the videos, and it actually details very well. There is no difference, the results are the same and not dependent on transmission type.
Nice set of videos! I’m doing my ceramic coating piecemeal, as the weather permits, with Armor Shield IX from AvalonKing. Finished coating my winter wheels and windshield so we’ll see how they fare over the winter.
I ordered more Armor Shield IX than I need for the C4 and my wife’s car. Send me a PM if you’re interested in my extra kit.
Good luck!
It depends on the level of work required. Generally my paint correction and coating jobs are $900+ these days, although I do have a cheaper option but the packages I usually recommend are a better value. Usually I hit the the plastics, headlights and taillights with the coating if there is enough. I charge extra for wheels and interior coatings. Here is a 996 I did a few years ago when I wasn't charging nearly enough. I think I charged $400 for this thing

That's still actually a pretty good price. If I knew that I was hiring somebody that really knew what they were doing to take the swirls out of my car I would pay up to $1,500.
$900 is more than fair for a professional correction & detail. People who have never done this don't understand the hours that go into this project. They think it's just waving a buffer over the car. I am no professional by any means, so, I'm slow as all get out... Usually takes me a weekend to do the whole car in & out.
There is something for everyone but you get potential customers that scoff at $300 when they want me to spend way too much time cleaning out a minivan that their 4 kids destroyed. "Oh, I thought it would be like $100"
I think so too. It usually takes mew a few days for a project, I prefer when people leave them for a week so I can take my time rather than trying to work a 10 hour day.
"Oh, I thought it would be like $100"
^^^ MORONS!... They have no clue what it actually takes to do this type of work - both knowledge wise, and elbow grease wise. Most of them probably need help wiping their own a$$es... I'm always amazed at how quick they are to lay out big $ on status symbols, but then scoff at the cost to maintain them.
