Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I try not to tackle things for the first time without allowing plenty of time, but this proved to be pretty simple.
Leading evidence: 'pretty simple' (1 discussions report identifying this cause; no attributable repair resolution). Across 1 matching discussions, the most frequently mentioned possible cause is 'pretty simple' (1 discussions; 1 report identifying it and 0 suggest it). The most frequently discussed action is 'Replace line is the answer, once you've confirmed the problem' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Left rear head has oil dripping (slowly) from the top. I can't see its origin but from under the car I can see the corrugated hose to AOS is wet at the connection, I don't think that's where it's coming from... what else could leak on the top left bank. I see no oil on the top of the case.
I need to remove the SAI to see any further.
Hey Bill, good chance its the line you suspect. I had the same leak at that point, at least. The line gets brittle and develops cracks & oil migrates down to the fitting. Replacing the line is the answer, once you've confirmed the problem. It's been a while, but iirc, with the airbox, rear-most plenum cross-over (with the TCB) and the bracket holding the +jump connector removed you can fish the new line through. I think there is a part that is more or less a long wire-tie that has to be replaced that secures the line to or near the other plenum cross-over. I recall that it was a little challenging to reconnect it at the AOS, but you'll know when its properly connected when it clicks. A camera scope is also useful in the process. GLWS
Dan, I see two types of AOS lines. Which one do you have? I started a thread inquiring about this...

If you could answer over there, thanks!
Wire tie? More info please as I don't recall seeing this on either of my motors.
I'm convinced that the O-rings have failed on both ends and not the hose being cracked.
I am going to install a new AOS hose just to be on the save side. Shipping the damn thing cost almost as much as the part!
Anymore tips/tricks? Did you fish it in from the right or left first?
Bill, the hose on my car ('04 C2) was fastened to the cross over toward passenger compartment by something resembling a very long plastic wire tie. It had to be cut loose to remove the old hose. I actually replaced it with a very long wire tie. I can't suggest any other tricks; I don't recall it being that difficult at all. I try not to tackle things for the first time without allowing plenty of time, but this proved to be pretty simple. I remember it being a little fumbly getting the snap fitting seated to the AOS, it's all feel, plus mine's a tip -- less clearance. I fished the hose through from the passenger side. I may have disassembled more than necessary, but it made it pretty easy. Go to it & let us know how it works out.
The dead is done and was a royal pain in the butt!
No the are not interchangeable for someone that asked. The connection on bank two is entirely different.
