Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I am about to rehab my rear suspension. Question: I have her up on jackstands. Can I remove and replace the five links one at a time on each side without fear of anything dropping down? Regards, Lang G

POST 2Original post

Should be no problem. Just mark any eccentric bolts so that your alignment stays somewhat close. You will be able to tell very easily what holds what up as you remove arms. You will also be able to remove more than one without worrying about the carrier dropping. Its sometimes easier to have a small jack or support under the carrier to help align bolts as you put the arms back together.

POST 3Original post

llang- Put a jack or stand under the hub carrier on the side you work on. You can lift the hub up to unload the suspension a little while you take it apart. Youll have it on there anyway when you put the coffin arm on, like CW says.

POST 4Original post

Replace the bottom first, then the top dogbones. Easy enough and keeps everything supported while you are doing it with the axles still in place.

POST 6Original post

And take/post pictures so we can follow along! Good luck...
