Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

14 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

What color do you think this is? My Dad is trading his 00 up for this 02 Cab. He is at his house in Phoenix this weekend he returns to Santa Fe on Monday and he said he is definatley getting it. He and the dealer have been good friends for 18 years he had it checked out on Friday. The top needs a part other then that it was clean. They sentit down to ABQ to have it repaired today. He will look for the color code when he gets it on Monday. I think he is going to drive up to see us in the next few weeks so I should be able to see the car soon. I am just curious what the color is. I don't think by the pictures it is Polar or Arctic maybe just his camera. Eric

POST 3Original post

Impossible to tell with digital shots, but under the front hood, on the white sticker, you will find the paint code. Could be... L6A6 ... Meridian Silver Metallic If it is not L92U, Arctic.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

You are the man I did not know the Sticker had the paint code too L6A6 it is!!!! Was that an upgraded color? I have never seen it. Also the car has painted bumperettes! Did they do those from the factory in 2002?

POST 9 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Like I said above the blury sticker I have has the Meridian color code.

POST 10Original post

Eric is the MichaelAngelo and DaVinci of Porsche paint. I'd go along with whatever he thinks it is.

POST 11 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I will say he is getting lowering springs for Christmas this year. Damn that thing is a 4x4.

POST 12Original post

The non painted rear bumperettes were reserved for all 996TT's. You could not even get them painted from the factory via the Exclsive programme. The 997TT finally provides painted bumperettes from the factory.

POST 13Original post

Thanks for the compliments. On the '02 standard Carrera, bumperettes became the plastic covers over clamshells, all body color. On the Boxster, Turbo, C4S and GT2 and GT3, they remained black rubber, which we paint. 997 carried forth the plastic covers, so no more moldy black pebble textured pods at the rear. Oh well....

POST 14Original post

I need to lower my 4 X 4 also. Will you add me to your Christmas list?
