Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Suggestion

If I may suggest, add spacers to both fronts and rears, it will really change the look of the car.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

16 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I finally added the clear tail lenses and sidemarker. I can't afford the fronts right now but i will eventually get there! I painted the calipers yellow with the G2 paiting system. Im sure some will cry PCCB's but i think they look great(Thanks newport996!). I wish i would of put a 3rd coat on them, but they look pretty good. The car was also completely stripped and recovered with a 3 step process and porter cable. The previous owner wasn't skilled with a buffer and left a quite a bit of swirl. It has that wet look again Enjoy the pics -Keith

POST 2Original post

Lookin' good. Needs one of our custom Door Plugs though.

POST 4Original post

I guess I am the last of the dying breed of coloured corner lovers. Your paint looks good, black is the dual edged sword, eh? Lots of work but big payoff when it is clean.

POST 5Original post

Nice looking car... Yellow calipers do look cool on dark color car. Regarding your wheels, I just wish that mine are as clean as yours (without curb-rashes & scratches), sigh!!! If I may suggest, add spacers to both fronts and rears, it will really change the look of the car. Cheers,

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

That along with about another $1,000 of products that I need from you! I have spacers on the rear. I think they are only 5 or 7mm. One of my rims paint is bubbling and flaking off so they arent completely perfect. I am thinking of refinishing them in Black or gunmetal... I want to get some iForged Monaco's but they cost an arm and a leg. I am only willing to give up a finger right now! -Keith

POST 7Original post

keith i added 15mm spacers front and rear with those rims, i'll have to show you sometime. it looks good.

POST 8Original post

I agree with the door plug. Also, contact Eric for painted bumperettes!

POST 9 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

What if i tinted the front orange part like this? What do you guys think? -Keith

POST 11Original post

Nah, too much black. A little contrast is good. I personally think that you can have too much monotone. ...although, the tints look good on the red car.

POST 12Original post

What products did you use with the Porter Cable? It looks great and I am really jealous!

POST 14Original post

Keith, just remember when you add the spacers you may/will have to get longer lug bolts. Steve 2003 996

POST 15Original post

Not "may", he WILL need longer bolts. Even with 5MM spacers.
