Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

If it is you need to run far away from these guys.

Run the VIN at a local dealer for service records and history.

I'd ask Global the original dealer's name, and get the service history, then PPI, then visual check, then test drive.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

What do you guys think of this? Price seems good... Carfax checks out; although I've seen Texas cars that check out with carfax to have major problems.

better make sure it isn't a flood victum!!!! There are a lot of floods in Texas..I think there is one going on right now.....I also think there is a guy on this board..who bought a Porsche from global and found out after the purchase that it has been in a flood!
Yup, it's the same guys and we looked at this car. Arr0Gant pulled the Carfax.... I don't remember why we were not enthusiastic, but there were some questions with it.
Run away!
Then again, they could have just taken the black one that Arr0Gant had and sprayed it silver ovenight and are preparing to launch the submarine back into the world.
It seems clean, with no nonsense to it. Excellent price. No, this is not arrogants car. That had wings and what-not to it.
Global seemed to deal with arrogant decently, once the error was discovered. One owner, bought from another dealer. I'd ask Global the original dealer's name, and get the service history, then PPI, then visual check, then test drive. If all else checked out, it's an excellent deal and I'd buy it.
I wouldn't buy a valve stem cover from these guys. They seem to be buying salvage, or auction vehicles with dubious history, detailing them up a bit, and selling them off as great cars. No way I'd buy from them. And carfax as we have seen is incredibly unreliable as a source of information for an accurate history of a car.
Interesting how you can see the history, and how the ownerships change.
I wonder what my car will show if/when I sell it? I leased the vehicle from the dealership, so the first owner would be the dealer. At the end of lease, I bought it through my corporation, so then the corp owned it. Then I bought it from my corp after a few months, so I now owned it. Then, I put it in my trust, so now the trust owns it. That's technically 4 owners, but in reality only one, me. Geez. I hope it's not that bad if/when the time comes.
The first dealer is not the first owner. No ownership is recorded until the first sale and registration, although the other transactions you mentioned should show up on the carfax.
I bought almost the exact same car, same year, similar mileage, same price, but from the original owner with all service records.
check the car carefully.
Thanks a lot, Tim
.
I leased it from the dealer, who then sold it to my corp after the lease ended, so wouldn't the first title be to the dealer/leaseholder?
