Now the noise has stopped, also the wing will not go down, unfortunately I will have to wait for a friend of mine to check the car out but I was going to ask if you had any ideas what this noise could be?

Turns out my father found water in the car which is not looking good, It appears to be that the immobilizer has been set off.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hello,
Last weekend I came back home from school and got to drive my car for the first time in 2 months. Overall the car was fine and there were no noticeable issue. However, I got a call from my father telling me that the car was making a loud beeping noise, he thought it was the car's alarm as it happens to go off from time to time. However when he tried to unlock the car nothing happened, and the noise persisted (I should note this noise was not the horn, as he was able to get the horn to also make the noise when he pressed it). When he tried to start the car it refused to crank. He tried to open the frunk by jumping the car via the fuse box. Additionally, the rear wing came up (he admits this may be due to him accidentally hitting the switch). Now the noise has stopped, also the wing will not go down, unfortunately I will have to wait for a friend of mine to check the car out but I was going to ask if you had any ideas what this noise could be? the Beeping noise is one that went on constantly for at least 10 minutes straight. it did not sound like the alarm either.
Did you test the battery? Also check for mice...A mouse in the car could have tripped the alarm.
By chance to you have a sunshade for the windshield? Mine fell and triggered the alarm once.
Ill have my car checked out, hopefully no mice but the noise was more of a beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep like someone held the horn down and never let go than the normal alarm. also no sunshade or anything like that
The rubber grommets may be worn out on the "retaining frame" located behind the steering wheel. It can cause the horn to actuate with little or no pressure. It is a common failure. I ended up buying a new one for mine because the horn would actuate when I hit the brakes hard. Kind of like when your buddies wired the brake switch to your horn in the old days. I unplugged the horns as a temporary measure.
