Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

In addition, I believe the owners of these high mileage vehicles really set themselves apart from any other typical driver, as it takes a certain vision and a bit of patience to get there.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I've always had a thing for high mileage cars and the story that they tell. In addition, I believe the owners of these high mileage vehicles really set themselves apart from any other typical driver, as it takes a certain vision and a bit of patience to get there. I'm working on a few projects and would like to connect with some of you who have a Porsche with +150K miles on them. I'm interested in knowing more about you, more about your car, and what type of maintenance has been performed, any stories to share, and any other interesting points that set you and your vehicle apart. I will be submitting an article to my local PCA (Northeast) chapter, Rennlist, and will also be looking to post pics/stories on a dedicated Instagram page. If anyone is interested, please shoot me a message. I'll submit questions via email, and you can either respond via email or we can discuss over the telephone if it's easier. If interested, I'd like to start it off by learning: Year/Model of your Porsche Current Mileage Mileage in your ownership Daily Driver (Y/N) Please message me if interested, or email at [email removed] Thanks everyone!

POST 3Original post

I'm not quite there yet 150+ miles but once the odometer rolls to entry requirements Ill get back to you.

POST 4Original post

Very cool. I'm only at 130K, so not there yet. But I'm looking forward to seeing what develops from your effort. I really enjoy the 996 and hope to keep it running well past 150K. Please keep us updated.
